The episode was okay. I am not enjoying the entire Fornell arc ... I will be glad when it concludes. To be honest I don't like the way they have handled the character since he left the FBI. I hope he is not in over his head either.
I know that the plan was not to end last season with the Arizona but I really think that worked out well - that episode was great.

It didn't show a date during the intro but since it picked up right after the bar night with Gibbs, this was still technically in the past wasn't it? Either that or they came back to present during last episode and I missed it.

Just curious. Have they said where Emily is? They mentioned her briefly in the premier that she had completed rehab 'with flying colors' but I don't remember if they said she went back to school. Fairly clear that the writer doesn’t really get addiction. No one ever completes substance abuse “with flying colors”. It truly is one day at a time for the rest of your life. One is too many. Ten is not enough.

Ten is not enough. Either that or Fornell is wearing rose-colored glasses regarding Emily and assuming that she's finished rehab and is 'all better.' He's also fixated on catching the dealers who are pushing the counterfeit pills, so much so that he seems to have forgotten everything he learned as an FBI agent. I'm taking everything he says and does right now with a grain of salt.

I'm guessing I missed something. Did they say why Gibbs and Toby can't just meet up when Toby is off of work? They'd have a lot lower chance of getting caught than they do at the Beltway Burger. Or is it just one of those things we aren't supposed to think about and I'm screwing that up?

no, I don’t think you’re screwing it up, Hari...
as I see it, there’s absolutely no reason why they couldn’t meet at Gibbs’ place - or anywhere else for that matter... this “cloak & dagger” bit is just another example (to me) of how bad the writing for this show has become... the writers are exhibiting the maturity of a bunch of 14 year olds...

nas I meant screwing up the "not thinking about it". I'm not suspending my disbelief. Who knows, maybe Beltway Burger makes all employees move into a barracks building and the kid at the drive-thru knows exactly where Toby is. It's all I can come up with.

or maybe they implant them with a GPS chip! that’s cheaper than putting ‘em up in a barracks, Hari...
hey, if you can stretchhhh your imagination, so can I...

I quit watching when the”show killer” (Fez) signed on. Apparently have not missed much. However the Twitter-idiot following Muse Watson are literally ape **** crazy he has not been on this season. Even if the Mike Franks Character died
