That was very much an "Ellick" (as the fan fiction community uses, naming wise) start-up. Now, where's that poll so I can give it an A?
They slipped in a subtle nod to it when McGee (I think, might have been Kasie) was looking over Bishop's computer activity and mentioned that she'd updated her emergency contact record, and then there was a very noticable "did they do it?" moment right in the end of the episode when, at least the next day (everyone's in different clothes) they shared that kind of wink wink nudge nudge look. They had apparently also both taken off quickly after getting rescued by Gibbs, another brief mention slipped in after they'd switched back to McGee's place after the rescue.
I dunno, I liked the return of Ziva/Tiva and I like the slow-burn (maybe not so slow now, though) setup for Ellick that's been happening for a while now, I think that actually started during "She" when Nick used the gifted jar from Kasie to keep water from the lake where Ellie had dove in through gunfire to rescue the girl.

I prefer the nickname "Borres" because those 2 have Zero Chemistry and it Borres me to tears. Ellie was better with Jake before that was ruined for no reason other than to ship Jamie Bamber off to Whereverland. Or Qasim before he was killed or even Clay before he was killed. This new ship seems forced since McGee and Delilah are good, Gibbs is perpetually single with Jack on the way out and no other romance to spotlight. Spare me. Please.

Sorry folks. I watched the episode but then pretty much fell asleep right afterwards. (I've been trying to stave off a migraine with only some success.) When I woke up, I didn't have the energy to turn on my computer to put up the poll. I know I'm going to have to watch this episode again because my headache definitely colored how I felt about this one. Either way, the poll is up now.

Personally, I think they should have left Ellie with her ex husband, instead of ending their marriage.

I enjoyed the episode well parts of it. It annoyed me to no end that Gibbs seemed lost at doing actual work searching for the Ellie and Nick. He needs all bits of information fed to him before he can solve a case??? LAME..... Boy is Tim left alone alot... I understand this is not the time to have kids on set..... but still....
It was a solid episode.

Not a great episode. I'm surprised I didn't see anyone else mention how McGee was shot in both the arm and leg, but he's got an arm in a sling yet is walking around with no trace of a limp or any pain when the shot in the leg is the one that supposedly almost killed him.

After almost 40 years as a nurse I have stopped paying attention to medical portrayals. When McGee flopped backwards on the bed after talking to Sloane and was reaching down to pick up what he dropped I started tuning it out. I never watch medical dramas for that reason.
I am not into the entire shipping business but at this point I just ignore that too....

I found Jake to be rather bland and uninteresting.
