The entire DC to Philly bit like it was around the corner instead of hours apart was a little off. It's not any different than how they've pretended that Norfolk is just down the street rather than a three hour car ride. I think the only time they acknowledged that it was far was the time waaaaay back in season 1 when McGee stayed in Abby's coffin because he was up late writing the program to identify Ari. It makes me roll my eyes but it isn't enough to ruin the story for me.
What was actually more unbelievable was that Parker could dent his desk like he did that without breaking his foot! Even if he was wearing steel-toed shoes, I doubt he could dent a desk with his foot.

that’s what I have often referred to as “Hollywood miles”, luckysmom…. they (whoever “they” are) have been doing it in movies and t.v. for years - and it makes me nuts! 😖 cities & towns that anyone with the slightest bit of geographical understanding knowing how far apart “point A” is to “point B” has gotta think, “Man, that’s stupid!” - or not, I guess; depends on how much the little stuff gets to you… of course, it drives Maxine up a wall…
one of the biggest offenders of this that sticks in my mind was in the movie Independence Day with Will Smith: the world was being attacked by aliens and the entire west coast was in rubble, but he was able to get from San Diego to L.A. in no time flat, even tho’ the entire freeway system was a collapsed pile of steel and concrete! then again, it was a sci-fi/comedy alien invasion flic, so I guess you have to give it a pass, huh?
but, when NCIS does it, what’s their excuse? 🤔

nope, didn’t see that flic, pd….
I’m not a big fan of Nicholas Cage… most of what he does is weird, so I imagine this wasn’t any different…

nas The whole movie is a plot hole, where the plane takes off and lands in the same place, but takes two hours to get there.

I enjoyed the episode. I do wonder why DC office would drive almost 3 hours to help out on a case? I know in CA driving 3 hours to go 5 miles is normal, but is it really something done on the east coast?
Palmer seems to date above his station..... so why not....
At the start of the episode they said the PA office was short-handed and they were helping out. The driving back and forth doesn't make sense, but most television and movie writers think you can drive from NYC to LA in 20 minutes unless driving time is a plot point.
The characters of Michelle, Breena, and Jessica are certainly lovely ladies, but I don't know about calling them "above his station". Even if the storyline declaring it was BS, he is an MD and we've also seen that he has the best abs in the agency. Also, I'm not big on there being a rule that people can only date other people at the same level of attractiveness as themselves.

According to Google Maps DC to Philly is only 2 and a half hours. That's not really that far.

According to Google Maps DC to Philly is only 2 and a half hours. That's not really that far. It is when you figure Parker was in Philly, got the call from Kacie about the pager info, drove back to D.C. to pick up McGee, then back to Philly to be there at 3pm for the meet with the DEA agent...
