Finally got a chance to sit down and watch the whole episode. I give it about 7.5 I liked the whole Reeves story line. The main case was so-so. At least Abby wasn't annoying and Jimmy wasn't a doofus. I too wonder if with Abby leaving, they're shifting focus away from forensics toward psych profiling. In other words, Jack is Abby's replacement of sorts on the team.

I agree that the AA was respectfully handled, just as I believe it is with Elementary. Also Gibbs with a friend in the program, my best guess would be Fornel, and it was his last wife, Stephanie, who would always get drunk on their anniversary and continuously call him (first season). While the part about Stephanie is correct, I think they referred to Rebecca. When Diane showed up with Rebecca in tow, Rebecca was going thru her 12 Steps program. She told Gibbs later, she hit rock bottom and then finally decided to really try to get sober. So far, not impressed by Jack Sloane. And does have Team Gibbs forgotten how to do their job aka investigate?! They need to be told to check his physical footprints by Sloane?! Sorry, that's sloppy work of the writers. All of them, especially Gibbs, should know that. Sloane's later profiling was fine, but the first part was really bad. This felt too forced. They need to do better when inserting her in cases.
