My sister bought a nifty little "scooter", when she had her foot/ankle surgery. You kneel the bad leg on the scooter and wheel away.

Yeah this wasn't a great episode. Rather plodding IMO. And I don't think they could make McGee look more idiotic. Kacie is beginning to grow on me a bit. Quirky, but not nearly as annoying as Abby at the end. Anybody recognize crutch lady's accomplice at the end? If he looks vaguely familiar it's because he's Scott Winters, brother of Dean Winters, the Allstate Mayhem guy.

I didn't even notice but I will take a look again on the ON-Demand....Dean made a few more appearances as Cassidy in the last few years (between season13 and now on SVU

Quirky, but not nearly as annoying as Abby at the end. Anybody recognize crutch lady's accomplice at the end? If he looks vaguely familiar it's because he's Scott Winters, brother of Dean Winters, the Allstate Mayhem guy. Maybe that's why I thought he looked familiar! I was wracking my brain trying to figure out which episode I had seen him in before. But since he's new, that begs the question: why is he surveiling Vance? Does it have anything to do with our bad guy from the premiere, Nigel Hakim? In a way, I kinda hope so since Hakim wasn't much of a villain, in my opinion.
Overall I didn't think the episode was that bad but it also wasn't that great either. It just felt a little flat. The reality star housewife never felt like she was a credible threat and neither did the creepy fanboy. The 'pinging' plot point with the lawyer was heavy handed and Tim came off as whiny when he found the creepy fanboy even though it was a pretty impressive bit of sleuthing. Really though, the lawyer could have told them as they walked to the elevator about the on-call judges though. That was a pretty important bit of information.
But there were a lot of things to like about the episode too. I liked seeing Vance's recovery and Jack calling him on his BS reason for not returning to work. I really liked how Tim empathized with Vance's reluctance to return to work. The trauma Tim and Gibbs suffered was all but forgotten after the second episode last season, so, his line about rentry being a bitch was a welcome, albeit subtle, acknowledgment that Tim understands the trauma Vance has been through. I really liked Kasie typing out the text to Gibbs, then erasing it so she could call him only to be taken off guard when Gibbs arrived. I liked her before and I'm liking her even more as we get to know her character. I am a little upset that Mallory is playing Vance though. I would love to see Vance find someone nice. (I'd also like to see Jared again but I'm not holding my breath!)

5. Are we to seriously believe they don't have an automatic door (or at least powered) for entering and exiting a physical therapy office? I'm pretty sure some lawyers would be all over them with the Americans with Disabilities Act in hand.
I think it depends on the company. The local hospital has a free standing facility for outpatient PT and there are automatic doors on that one. There is also a private PT company in a strip mall, so no automatic doors.

Tim did come off looking foolish with the whole "reality star" thing. Good for the team calling him on it.
I'm disappointed with the Mallory thing. IMHO, it's past time that Vance had a romantic relationship. I was hoping for good things there.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand why the writers thought it was funny to make McGee look so foolish...
imho, a grown man, husband and father of two, does not act all gaga over a reality tv star unless there’s something wrong with him... actually I thought he looked more creepy than foolish...
to be honest I could do without a romantic relationship for Vance - or Gibbs or Ducky or any of them for that matter... the “ ❤️ interest” usually turns out to be a total disaster for one reason or another... (psycho, killer, fill in the blank ________) and unless I’m wrong “crutch lady” isn’t gonna wind up being Leon’s new ...

So it just occurred to me... when Tim gave up the Real Housewives show at the end of the episode, he mentioned that "there's this new show about detectives in Miami..." He was describing the show that Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are supposed to be developing together:
