@ NewBe & llyan...
I ditto, ditto that thought, too!
I was thinking about it as I was writing about Torres and his “Chippendale’s dancing”, but decided not to say anything about it... I’m glad that I wasn’t the only one who was thinking about “sexual harassment in the workplace”...
so, I’ll just add my 2cents worth now: that little scene was totally inappropriate, and never in a million years would it or should it have been acceptable when I was in the work force - and it’s even less acceptable in today’s work environment!
more and more I’m beginning to think the writers of NCIS are seriously clueless on so many levels... pity... 😕

Regarding Torres "dance" scene; When a colleague of mine did that I laughed at him. He took it in good part. However, if other colleagues did that, I might not have taken it the same way. It's about context. That type of stuff really isn't appropriate and certainly can qualify as harrassment in today's environment.

It's about context. That type of stuff really isn't appropriate and certainly can qualify as harrassment in today's environment. In the context that it was done, I wouldn't qualify it as harassment. But it was borderline. (Although if you listen to the lyrics of the song in the background, it gets to be even more questionable.) I understand that the writers put that scene in for a laugh but if they had blocked it so that Torres was a few paces away instead of right next to Bishop it wouldn't have been nearly so bad.

I didn’t initially watch the episode, it decided to in order tocsee this part in the show. I also found it to be very inappropriate and unacceptable in the work place. It appears to be something added by the writers to entertain young fans (at least to some extent), ignoring work place ethics via real world.

Something to remember; There are other people in that big orange room. There are security cameras operating 24/7.
It didn’t belong in an office environment at all.
I think the writers have their heads buried in the sand the way Jesse Stern did when he claimed Ziva’s assault on Tony wasn’t assault and was shocked that so many of us called him on it.

it’s kinda odd, but I actually felt uncomfortable watching that Torres dance scene... it’s the same way I feel when shows have sexually explicit love ❤️ scenes, like HBO does all the time... for the record I felt that way years ago when Tony & Jeanne were hot ‘n’ heavy back in Season 4, I think it was... I could have done without their sweaty bedroom scenes...
remember the days when an office birthday celebration for a female co-worker involved a male stripper coming in and “performing”? do they even do that any more?
what’s odd is I don’t really consider myself a prude by any stretch of the imagination, but these kinds of things make me really uncomfortable...

it’s nice to know I’ not alone, ballerina... as long as I’m strolling down “memory lane”, I’ll do my “Ducky impression” 😉:
many, many years ago for my 25th all girls high school reunion, the organizers thought it would be fun to hire a male stripper as entertainment... I swear you’d have thought those women had never seen a naked male before! entertaining for some - for me? not so much... by the time I’d reached my 40s I’d seen plenty of the “neckked male torso”...

I've been a little busy the last few days, so I haven't had the chance to comment on this episode. I wasn't too entertained by it. I was actually a fan of the whole Gibbs/Fornell Odd Couple vibe, but I think they beaten that horse to death with this one. Adding a tubesteak like Phil killed it for me. He took it from the Odd Couple to The Three Stooges and not in a funny way.
Somebody please tell me how a wuss like Phil rose through the ranks of the Navy to hold a position of command authority over others?
The crime of the week was pretty interesting, it just wasn't presented very well IMO.
Not exactly sure what to make of the Jack/Izzie thing. It didn't seem to add anything to the story.
On the positive side, Kacie is really growing on me. They keep her like this and things will be fine. And I also liked McGee being told by Palmer he was "nicer" than Gibbs, then channeling his inner Gibbs in MTAC later on.
