Vincent and the Doctor is the one episode of Doctor Who that makes me cry each and every time.

Made it [almost] in time for “Resolution”, only missed the first 12 minutes.

nas First. I always love seeing the Daleks so that alone had me happy. This classic villain is my favorite. I was a little lost for missing those 12 minutes. I’m Going to need to watch again to form an informed opinion. I didn’t want to but I liked Ryan’s father. His expression when the TARDIS materialize in his living room was priceless. I keep expecting a companion to be killed off so I’m glad it didn’t happen yet.

definitely the first 12 minutes of the episode was critical (as it is with any show), so you know what’s going on... (sometimes I miss the opening scene of NCIS and I have to wait to see the episode again on On Demand to clarify the situation)
um, I don’t think they’ll be killing off any of The Doctor’s companions... I think they thinned out the group when they lost Grace in the beginning... the other 3, to me, seem like a single entity - if you know what I mean; they are interconnected and they all function as one...

I stopped watching a few years ago. I just didn't think it was as good as the earlier show. Did they also happen to address the fact that the Doctor was only supposed to be allowed 12 incarnations? Yep, at some point he made a comment that he had been 'Reset'
