WOW! did everyone think “A Thousand Words” was so underwhelming it wasn’t worth commenting on?
usually by the time I see the episode on the west coast there’s at least a couple of posts - but tonight NADA, ZILCH, ZIP, ZERO!
que pasa, y’all?
nas I only just finished the episode. (I did like it though!) I was at a professional dinner which ended later than I had hoped it would. So I'll comment and get the poll up in the morning since it's past my bedtime.

is anyone going to try the barcode? I loved the painting. Was I looking too much into the line about "never having enough pink flamingos"? It seemed it should have meant something (since Gibbs and Ritz shared a look over it) but I Googled and can only find reference to a book. Again more throw backs to early NCIS episodes, especially the Jack/Gibbs conversation, the telemarketing room, the saving whales. I can imagine Abby fans complaining even more about Kasie in this episode, because I did feel some of the lines were really Abby this week.

Never a big fan of agenda episodes. Also thought the "was she" "wasn't she" ending was stupid. Having said that, loved the painting of Gibbs and Bishop. Also like that they are doing more and more with Bishop. Now, if they'd just give McGee something to do.

nas Just finished the episode and agree it was underwhelming. The initial appearance by the killer was so short and forgettable that I did forget the character had even been in that scene. Another minus is that I think McGee should have said something about his first case with Gibbs dealing with environmental terrorists targeting sonar and the whales.
On the positive side, I did like the 'painting' of Gibbs and Bishop. I live near busy train tracks and often see freight cars with spray paint drawings. While some of those drawings look ok on a freight car, I've yet to see one that belongs in a museum or any other gallery. Does it say much that i nearly fell asleep? I didn't quite see the correlation of why they had to investigate but went with it...i still liked GIbbs reaction to Torres explanation of the animal thing. I also couldn't help think there would be many thinking there was too much agenda pushing for the ecosystem.

Yes, I forgot to mention the trope of the evil big corporation lying about their danger to the environment. What I particularly didn't like about that part is they successfully fooled the Navy, yet NCIS was able to find out about it in their very first test and find the coverup in the code in what appeared to be a matter of minutes, but certainly less than a day.

Hari, Hari, Hari, haven’t you learned by now, that Team Gibbs at NCIS is capable of solving any crime in 48 hours or less that other law enforcement agencies can’t... their talents are beyond magical, you know?
btw, re your comment about street art: may I suggest you Google “Basquiat” I wouldn’t spend a dime on his work, but apparently some people with more $$$ than brains have spent zillions...

After re-watching this episode, the only thing impressive is the artwork. Could not get into this, especially the goat yoga stuff --- ick!

The DVR didn't catch this episode, I had to be out of the house so I missed it. I had to wait till it appeared On Demand, I am usually easy to please with this show....but this show was totally underwhelming.... perhaps it was the late hour... I did like the painting of Bishop and Gibbs.... And I while I have friends who do Goat Yoga.... ya... no thank you.....
