Here are the sneak peeks. They're from CBS so they may not be viewable from outside the US. If they're uploaded elsewhere, I'll replace the videos.
Note: removed the videos since CBS deleted the videos from you tube after the episode aired.

Gibbs lives in a densely populated area so the secret passage would have to come out in a neighbor’s yard. In the '60s Batman series, Stately Wayne Manor was in Pasadena but the Batcave entrance was in Griffith Park, so there's precedent.

Gibbs actually has a back yard. They showed it on the 101st episode when Kelly's friend came to Gibbs to ask for help. He dug up their time capsule from under a bush. The back yard was sizable. I live in a densely populated area and I have a sizable back yard, no basement with a boat, but large enough to put two more houses that are the same square footage as mine.
Just saying.

Just saying. Was the yard at the Camp Pendleton house, rather than the Washington one? It had to be the Washington one, he brought the "Strawberry Shortcake" lunch box into the basement, and they had a shot of two photos, one of Kelly with her friends arm around her, then of Gibbs and the grown friend laying on top. Then instead of opening the lunchbox to see what in it, he takes it back out and buries it back where he got it from.

Just saying. His house is in a residential neighborhood so there would be no room to get it out of the yard as it has a parameter fence around it. When DiNozzo was on guard duty to protect Shoot em Up Franks Franks had to knock Tony out in order to get out of the yard - otherwise he could have just snuck out the back while Tony was around the side.

He gets the boats out somehow. My theory at least is viable.

Wow, I'm surprised there aren't any comments on this one yet. It was a pretty packed episode that I really enjoyed. Not sure I could give it an A but it was a solid B+ for me.
Some general thoughts off the top of my head:
The case - I thought it was pretty interesting on how it went from a mass shooting to Gibbs' 'hunch about pancakes' leading them to realize that it was a targeted shooting. - I felt awful for the father. He tried to do everything he could for his sons but wasn't able to protect them from themselves. I'm very glad it didn't end with the kid getting killed even if he was a killer who shot innocent people.
Torres - He seemed weirdly peeved off by the shooter. Was he redirecting his frustration from last week into his anger this week? - He did have some of the funnier lines though. The whole thing abut the swan was odd (and true, swans will go dark quick if you mess with them!) but it was also a humorous through line. I also liked when he told Gibbs about the swan thing that he didn't want to talk to Sloane again because he had his fill for the month.
Bishop - I'm still not sure what to make of Bishop and her secret about Ziva. I'm also not 100% convinced that Ziva is alive after that weird cryptic conversation with the old lady who owns Ziva's She Shed. Now I'm wondering if someone is trying to mess with Bishop and/or anyone who might be looking for Ziva. - I thought it was interesting that she suspected that Gibbs knew and tried to get him to admit as such. Pretty sure he doesn't know. If he had known, he would have deflected far better than he did. Gibbs looked a little flustered when she asked the question.
Sloane - Nice pay off to the story they've been teasing for a while. - I'm sorry that they didn't have a happy ending but in a way, I'm glad it wasn't wrapped up in neat bow. Clearly Faith has asked about her birth mom and has been told that Jack didn't want any contact. You can see how hurt she is by that and that's not just something you get over in a two minute conversation, especially one where Jack didn't explain herself. - But true to the theme of hope, I'm hopeful that one day Faith might reach out and Jack might be able to explain herself.
McGee - With everything else, McGee was kinda in the background this week until that fantastic scene at the end of the episode in the basement. There wasn't anything about that scene that I didn't like (except that maybe I wish it had been longer or that we got more like this.) - I can't say that I'd call Gibbs and McGee friends but after all these years and their time in Paraguay, they know each other well and they trust each other. McGee trusted Gibbs when he sent Torres in alone but I liked that he questioned Gibbs about it after the fact. And I loved that Gibbs opened up and admitted that he burned Rule 10 and that he struggled with that decision. - Bishop was right, Gibbs probably broke Rule 10 more than any other but that doesn't mean it wasn't a good rule. Letting the case get personal can help the drive to solve the problem but there's the danger in going too far. Citing Rule 10 can be a warning that you're going too far. Gibbs was right, Torres, Bishop and Sloane all needed to be told to step back in this case. They needed to be warned that they were close to stepping over the line or their personal feelings were getting in the way of doing a good job on the case. - And given the preview for next week, I think this conversation is going to play heavily into next week's episode (assuming that we're not being too mislead by the teaser!)
ETA: I was strongly reminded of Last Man Standing (the season 6 opener after Vance broke up the team.) In Last Man Standing Gibbs told Vance, "I got a doubt about every one of them. Got a former FBI guy who doesn't listen. Got a boy genius who doesn't drive. Got a lawyer who doesn't shoot." In that episode, McGee was also the level-headed agent investigating the traitor in NCIS. In this episode Gibbs complained about one with a swan, an agent with a kid, and one with a plant and he was telling Tim to keep a good head on his shoulders. I'm wondering if it's a coincidence given Agent Mayhem's (brother) request to run into a burning building from last week. But we all know how Gibbs feels about coincidences and he hasn't burned that rule yet!

I also missed the first 15 but was able to catch on...it was good. I couldn't help thinking that maybe Gibbs is doubting his own abilities either.

@ llyan...
wasn’t it you that told me a few weeks ago, “Some of us have jobs.” (just kidding! 😉)
actually, I always look for a comment or two during or right after the episode, and am surprised when I don’t see one posted...
in truth, there was so much going on in this episode I had a hard time formulating my opinion - which is unusual for me...
I agree with everything you wrote, so thanks for saving me the time...
I’ll just add a few things:
1) I’m almost certain they will revisit Jack and her daughter Faith eventually... I liked the end shot with Jack giving Faith the picture and the note with her phone number; that left it wide open for her to call her mother after rethinking her feelings... hmmm, 🤔... I wonder why Jack decided to give up her baby instead of being a single mother... ”inquiring minds want to know “
2) WV portrayal of Torres, a.k.a. “the Swan” was great! he did such a good job of being so angry that the kid shot and killed innocent people I could almost feel how badly he wanted to shoot him dead right there in that motel room... his delivery of the line, “Pick up the gun!!” was XLNT, imo... but his cooler head prevailed, and he called in the team... that was a good scene - well played, WV!
3) for the life of me, I do not know why they are bringing up the “Ziva thing”! why the storyline that’s making Bishop obsessed with her? “ninja-girl” did not leave the show under the best of circumstances, and Bishop’s insinuating to LJG that he knows she may still be alive is irritating... 😖 would TPTB seriously consider bringing CdP back to the show? yeah, when 🐷🐷 fly!
