I thought it was excellent. Even though I figured out who the bad guy was right away.

I thought the episode was good. One of the first things I have to correct is Philly doesn’t have Irish mobsters we have Italian mobsters. Born & raised in Philly & still here. I understand how Knight feels about going solo to a wedding but it’s 2022, people do. I can’t believe Torres said no to help a friend. At least the writers could have given him a real excuse. Palmer & Knight? I don’t see it. I did like the story but I figured it out from the start.

As with the people above, I figured out whodunit quickly. Liked to see an episode centering on Parker (and I wonder if his desk will still have dents innext week's episode). Have always liked Kevin Chapman and he did his usual good job. Knight and Palmer? Surely not.

I'm glad they explained why Parker used 'jagoff' in last week's episode by explaining he was from Chicago although I'm a little disappointed he's not a Yinzer (Pittsburgher) which is where the word jagoff originated from.
I think Torres is still feeling burned by his relationship (or whatever it was between them) between him and Bishop and decided to not put him in a position to fall for a coworker again. As for Palmer and Knight, I can kinda see it. They both have a bit of a goofy streak. At the least, I can see them being really good friends and just having fun together.
Overall, it was a much better episode than last week. I liked how they showed how two kids from the same neighborhood could end up going in two very different directions in life. There was some nice insights into Parker too. I like how he's more open than Gibbs.

well, I liked the episode…
I just let it take me along for the ride, as it were… I figured out who the bad guy was even tho’ he was more of a background character; who else could it have been?
“Park” is a breath of fresh air compared to Gibbs… nothing dark or dismal about him; he’s willing to share things about his past (AND he brings pastries into the office! 😋) Gary Cole plays the part very well, imo…
I thought the chemistry between Cole & Chapman as childhood friends was quite believable - not forced or phony… btw, Kevin Chapman is looking good these days…
Palmer and Knight a couple? sure, why not? better than ‘shipping up team members like the writers have been trying to do for the past 18 seasons… besides, Victoria could use a stepmom like Jess - a very positive role model! remember how she talked to her “like a grownup” in episode 13? that was great!! 😅

What is it with NCIS and Philly? DiNozzo, Quinn, and Parker all came to NCIS via Philly at some point in their lives.

I enjoyed the episode. I do wonder why DC office would drive almost 3 hours to help out on a case? I know in CA driving 3 hours to go 5 miles is normal, but is it really something done on the east coast?
Palmer seems to date above his station..... so why not....

I kinda liked this episode, The ending was not all that predictable, not that it hasn't been done before but I liked where they took it, also a whole lot better than that fiasco last week with those 2 idiots on the floor bleeding and Palmer telling his little girl yes I'm going to die and so are you, I gringed, I wanted to shoot my TV.

What is it with NCIS and Philly? DiNozzo, Quinn, and Parker all came to NCIS via Philly at some point in their lives. What is it with Parker getting a lead on a meet for Sean Doyle, then driving all the way back to DC to get Mcgee and coming back... that is, what, 6-7 hours worth of time? and with gas prices what they are, all that driving??? Of course, in NCIS world, Philly, Norfolk, and pretty much anywhere else in the northeast 1/4 of the country are within a short drive. But, then again, all of these places are in or around Santa Clarita, CA, so...

I just caught up on the last 2 episodes - I enjoyed it!
I am enjoying Gary Cole as Parker. The original NCIS would not have been NCIS without Gibbs. But like many long surviving shows it is not the same NCIS as it was in the early season. The cast changes have breathed a little life into it in my opinion, and cut down on the comparisons with past seasons....
Plus I am having a nostalgia moment when I am watching Gary Cole, reminding me of Midnight Caller in the late '80s and what my life was like then...
I would much rather hints of Palmer and Knight then Knight and Torres...
The entire DC to Philly bit like it was around the corner instead of hours apart was a little off.
