in today’s judicial system getting to trial takes for-freakin’-ever!! 😡
the SVU version just became too much “soap opera” for me…
nas Definitely true. About a year and a half ago I got stuck with jury duty and the defendant had been waiting a year for a trial that only took one day and never should have been prosecuted in the first place.
As for SVU, I thought that would be your favorite since Hargitay is such a misandrist on there. 😺😺

OMG, Hari! she’s one of the main reasons I said, “I’m done!”
while I may be a misandrist, as you put it, (Maxine is worse than I am!) Hargitay was just over-the-top crazy… it was like she was harassing the victim to point the finger at the perp - and really “enjoying“ her job just a little too much…

I figured it would be renewed. But it's always nice to have officially official and stuff.
I get what some of you are saying. The show is certainly past it's prime. And for 20+ seasons it really is difficult to come up with episodes that don't constantly repeat the plots of those previously aired. And many a beloved star has exited the show. But I still enjoy watching it. Perhaps not as much as in years past. But I still get some entertainment value out of it. It's one of the very few scripted TV shows I continue to watch these days. So as long as the ratings stay good and there's enough people like me watching, I'm sure they'll continue to renew the show.
I didn't watch the NCIS 1000th episode show. I figured I'd not be missing much. Also, if they do name that spinoff NCIS:Tiva, I will legit LOL.
I'm similar to you. I still really enjoy the show and still find it entertaining. Even when the episodes are kinda duds, I can still find something to enjoy about it. Each of the cast changes have breathed fresh air into the show allowing it to change with each combination of characters. Despite it being an episodic procedural, the characters have grown over the years. So as long as that continues, I'm happy to keep watching.

I wouldn't have intentionally tuned in for it, but I forgot there wasn't a new episode on. I probably would have turned off a rerun, but since I already had it on and it was something I hadn't already seen I just left it going.
