I was pretty surprised I actually laughed at a few things (looks on faces) some of the dialogue etc... Mike Franks looked appropriately dead...and wasn't on long enough...maybe this is to let the fans know that Gibbs is getting better at his "seeing dead people". Franks being on at all at this point is too long, but I did like that Gibbs acted like he wasn't even there.
I do have to wonder about the video being admissible since the confession was coerced, and it's hard to be sure if a jury would believe NCIS wasn't in on getting the video confession. There were a couple of other plot holes like how Amber managed to retrieve the car computer override without being seen by anyone or leaving any traces and why the OSHA guy was bribing the DOD guy instead of the crooked contractor.

That's entertainment.

I would love to see where they bring both Franks and Jenny back. Arguing with each other while bothering Gibbs in the middle of an investigation. That could be quite hilarious.

Already had that with Tobias and Diane.

And he’s aged a lot since Gibbs told him: “Get lost, Mike”.

🤔 I wonder how long it took to film that 5 second/10 word guest spot?
and...
🤔 I wonder if ol' "bang bang" is working for the SAG daily base rate ($933) - or if he's making more $$$ because he still has "those pictures"... 😉

I love how Sean went from worry, to panic, to stoic, to utter shock to pure joy.

Thought the girl around which the plot revolved did a good job, but didn't care that much for the plot itself. Also they could have let Ducky do the Jack bit. Still can't get with her.

I agree with Verdun, lame plot but the actress rose above the material. McGee's reaction to the ultrasound news was priceless. Love that big smile but kind of surprised he didn't hit the floor. After the hoopla about Frank's coming back, so glad it was such a limited bit. 👍

Have to completely disagree. Tobias and Diane are a totally different dynamic than Jenny and Mike. Also, the chemistry would only affect Gibbs and not the rest of the team, which would make sense because only Gibbs would see them and only McGee, Abby, Palmer, and Ducky would be familiar with both. Torres, Bishop, and Jack would be clueless.
Diane grated on everybody's nerves and Tobias was a bundle of nerves when he was around them. Jenny was a leader and the team respected Franks, (even if the majority of members here don't). The story telling would be different, it would be Gibbs-centric episode, and could possibly bring closure to Jenny's death, for Gibbs, that they have left hanging for almost a decade, even though they don't deal with those repercussions now.
I doubt it will ever happen, but I don't think Harmon would be opposed to Lauren coming back.

at first I thought the plot was interesting, but by the end I thought it was a "fail"...
as much as I like Maria Bello, I must agree with you, verdun... if David McCallum were leaving the show permanently - which apparently he isn't - I could see why they added her character... but D Mc is staying right where he is, so "Jack" Sloane is a redundant character at this point in time...
maybe TPTB feel it's necessary to "level the playing field" with the male/female ratio on the show? overall it's : males = 7: > LJG > McGee > Torres > Reeves > Leon > Ducky > Palmer
females = 3: > Ellie > Abby > "Jack"
and with PP leaving at the end of the season, it'll be one less female (assuming the show goes to a S16)...
if they were going to add a female character, she should have been a Field Agent, not someone doing Ducky's job...
just a few random thoughts...

I was definitely glad last week when Jack and Ducky were playing the game and he was keeping up with her. The last couple of episodes she's also been asking Gibbs about what his gut was saying. I have a feeling it could be due to early feedback from when she was introduced about how the team was suddenly incapable of reading people without Jack. Remember how Tony and Kate were quite capable using the computer before McGee joined the show? I'm not sure about other shows, but it's definitely an NCIS trope where a person comes in with a specialty in some skill and everyone becomes inept at that skill. Had Agent Tony Francis become an agent, Bishop and McGee probably would have started having trouble lifting anything bigger than a pencil. And while Ducky isn't leaving the show, it does seem like they are looking to reduce his number of episodes even though he's only missed one so far.

David cut way back this season and might very well exit with Pauley at the end of the season. Having someone in place to do the "profiling" is a good management decision. Add the character now so it's not so startling (adding 2 new with the previously added Reeves) as Season 14. Get into a rhythm with writing Jack, getting a feel for who she is, is smart and I think it comes from Frank & George writing for the show for the previous 14 years.
Franks: I nearly missed him when I sneezed but I did miss what he said to Gibbs as Gibbs was walking away from his desk. Did Gibbs say anything to him?
