nas I concur with your third point. I think pigs would have to fly before they brought her back. Bringing her back would be the equivalent to giving in to a child having a temper tantrum based on how she left.

@ llyan...
wasn’t it you that told me a few weeks ago, “Some of us have jobs.” (just kidding! 😉) Hah! Touche, Nas! What you didn't see was that it took me three hours to type up that post. When I needed a break from my drainage calculations, I'd write a section of the post, go back to work, write a section, go back to work...
1) I’m almost certain they will revisit Jack and her daughter Faith eventually... I liked the end shot with Jack giving Faith the picture and the note with her phone number; that left it wide open for her to call her mother after rethinking her feelings... hmmm, 🤔... I wonder why Jack decided to give up her baby instead of being a single mother... ”inquiring minds want to know “ I agree. They certainly left this one open to be revisited. I didn't mention it before, but what great casting! The woman playing Faith looks like she could be Maria's daughter!
3) for the life of me, I do not know why they are bringing up the “Ziva thing”! why the storyline that’s making Bishop obsessed with her? “ninja-girl” did not leave the show under the best of circumstances, and Bishop’s insinuating to LJG that he knows she may still be alive is irritating... 😖 would TPTB seriously consider bringing CdP back to the show? yeah, when 🐷🐷 fly! If they had dropped the storyline after She I might have agreed with you Nas, but they brought it up again, which makes me think that there's a possibility that Cote could come back. In truth, we don't know all the details surrounding her leaving the show and it has been six years. Not only has there been time for those wounds to heal but there's been changes behind the scenes too. Gary Glasberg has passed and we had two changes to the showrunners since then (first it was George and Frank Cardea but now it is Frank and Steven Binder). Not to mention the other changes behind the scenes at CBS as a whole, so those pigs might fly after all. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I disagree, just because the storyline was continued doesn’t mean Ninja is still around. Maybe she is, maybe it is just a PR stunt and the story is not anything what it seems. Keeping it going brings in viewers, something that could easily be reason to fake it. Perhaps some people are no longer angry, but I bet some are still angry about the manner in which she left. I find it difficult to believe the MH would welcome her back, he seems to have power on set as well. I guess time will tell.

There's been cases in the past where similar tactics have worked to get NCIS to find someone listed as dead by claiming proof they are alive (episode 'Bait').
Whatever happened to that series that CdP was going to co-produce with MW? I remember there was some excitement about it, then nothing. IMDb has no producer credits for CdP.

well, let me tell you, llyan, if they did bring back CdP as anything but a ghost of Ziva’s “ninja-girl” that would be one helluva slick writing trick!
they’d have a whole lot of “‘splaining” to do about her whereabouts for the past 6 years - like why she left her child with her “baby daddy” - - or has she been with them in “gay Paree” all along?
imo, absolutely nothing they write would be the slightest bit believable...
me thinks the writers are scraping the bottom of the barrel to lure back some lost viewers by using the old “dangle a carrot” bit...
🤔 have ratings for the show dropped so significantly that they would stoop this low?
and as far as MH approving of her return: it is my very personal opinion that the man is a very tough bird; he may be a nice guy for all outward appearances, but don’t cross him! I have a feeling he doesn’t forgive OR forget that easily...(how Sicilian of him! )

A “baby daddy” (how I loathe that term) who was a complete stranger to the toddler who had ZERO experience with a child not totally out of diapers and not yet 2 years old. If she’s alive and living in Paris with them: A) she’d be VERY easy to find and kill. B) I’l be over and out. I already have a very low opinion of the character and having her alive would make me place the show runners in the same position. Hopefully it’s a gaslighting of Bishop and the big cliffhanger will be about the reveal of that - maybe related to the Vance issue.

Interesting case; regarding targeted vs random shootings, how often does it happen that the shooter goes in with a target or targets in mind but doesn't seem to care how many others get hurt in the process?
I think WV played that very well. Can anyone explain what is Bishop's obsession with Ninja girl?
Regarding the Sloan back story, I have difficulty with this. Full disclosure; I'm adopted and I can identify with Jack's daughter. If a woman showed up at my house and said she was my biological mother, she'd get a cold reception. OTOH, I know adoptees who chose to go hunting for biological parents when the sealed records laws changed, frequently with mixed results. I also know women who slipped up in an era when out of wedlock motherhood was not socially or morally acceptable. They hurt as well. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

I have no idea why Bishop is obsessed with Ziva David but it’s kind of creeping me out.

Llyan and Nas - I basically agree wtih your points. I enjoyed the episode.
I thought Wilmer did a great job in the episode.
My guess is age - that she was a teenager with no means of support, or in a tough family situation. I imagine at some point we will see Fatih again, or that it will come out.
The entire Bishop Ziva issue is not sitting particularly well with me, but I guess time will tell. I can't see any credible way she can be alive. I don't know what to make of Bishop's obsession with Ziva.
I enjoyed the scene between McGee and Gibbs in the basement, but GIbbs was rambling a bit and not totally understandable. It surprised me that he said he had "one with a kid" - McGee did not follow but it seemed unlike Gibbs to divulge something so personal to Sloan.
A few other thoughts - in some ways I am wishing for "the old days" a bit. I enjoyed the episode, but I feel like each episode brings out some angst or personal issue with one of the agents. It would be great to have a strong episode revolving around a case where everyone is just "normal" And the season finale is titled "Daughters" Plural. I wonder how many daughters will be showcased...

My guess on Jack is that her daughter was the outcome of rape.
