um, is there another meaning for “Tater Tots” that I’m not aware of? something insulting or derogatory?
if someone ran to HR cryin’ “he called me ‘Tater Tot’! 😢”, they’d probably be laughed out of the office...
I just may have to sneak in the back door to watch this episode, because I really liked Diona Reasonover as “Ka-Ka”... if you see someone like this , it isn’t me...

I am also confused by the “tater tot” comment and if it has some other meaning of which I am unaware.

I went to urbandictionary.com, ballerina, and checked it out... go to the link, type in the word “Tater Tots” to learn the other meaning... (it’s definition #2)
who said this board isn’t educational? 😉 live and learn, nas, live and learn... 😊

Shame on the show runners at NCIS for allowing the writer to use this comment!
I’d definitely be heading to HR!

nas Could also be #5, though that one might be worse. Then again, for all we know there's something earlier in the episode where Bishop says something about tater tots that causes Torres to use it. One thing for sure, if they're trying to sell a ship around these two, they're doing about as well as a used car salesman on truth serum who tells you the car he's pushing is a lemon with a transmission that's about to blow.

Tony called her "Chili Cheese" in that episode where he and McGee were doing that "juice and salad" thing and she ordered chili cheese fries when they were waiting in that bar, it's probably food related.

Sure enough, tater tots was explained before the preview scene. Anyone else get the feeling like this episode was originally written for Abby? Dogs, championing a person with a really bad history, and deciding her opinion means more than the evidence... Almost a human version of 'Dog Tags' (I can't remember which season, not going to look it up), except McGee doesn't adopt Kacie's friend under duress at the end.

Thanks Llyan! I am looking forward to the episode. Torres calling Bishop "Tater Tots"? Even her look said "What's with that?" That GSD was not in attack mode - he had a very happy tail! I got a chuckle out of McGee letting the tree branch smack Torres in the face. Whatever they were talking about before the scene started, McGee had enough of it! Learned behavior. DiNozzo did it to McGee now McGee did it to Torres.

The episode was okay - my attention started to drift a bit during it. Major problem I had was Kasie removing the weapon from the dog house.

Why is it that people who plan elaborate murders are then stupid enough to keep and hide the murder weapon rather than toss it in the nearest deep body of water? I know this time the shiv was planted, but it's a standard plot device of too many shows, including this one.
