Whelp, I'm officially working from home for the foreseeable future. The rest of my coworkers will be following suit as soon as they can roll out a means for everyone to work from home. (I have a laptop which allows me to work remotely.) It was weird saying goodbye to them yesterday and not knowing when I'll see anyone next. I see them more frequently than my family most weeks.

I’ve been working from home since last Weds until 4/10. The group I usually have lunch with had a Skype lunch today. It was strange but nice checking in with everyone. Our company has also requested that we not only stay out of the office but would like us not to meet outside the office after hours. It’s crazy. Who know how long it will last.

Both spouse and I are working from home for at least the next two weeks. Child received an extra week of Spring Break (they live at home), and then classes will be online after that. I am very curious how they will do choir on line. All K-12 schools are closed. All restaurants and bars are closing at 5pm today, although many are doing take-out and delivery. The Mall of America is closed. Don't know if the mall my child works at is closed, but i doubt if they will be scheduled to work. Spouse went to Costco yesterday to get a few things and all of the shelves are empty. A few employees were wearing shirts in the Costco colors that said "Panic at the Costco". I am fortunate that spouse and I can work from home. I feel awful for all of those folks who can't, and the small business owners whose businesses will be crippled by this.
On the upside, I just adopted an adult dog from the Animal Humane Society last week, and this is giving us lots of time to bond.

There are some stores in MN that still have food, the main one I go to, and then another one near my home are still stocking on a daily basis. We have a decent amount of items already, but my parents are going to go to the store I mostly purchase groceries, and pick up some extra just in case. I am grateful that they are still stocking daily though, and their shelves/ frozen section are still decently stocked. Later this week I am making a huge batch of veggie soup to freeze, as an extra just in case.

Hey everyone...I am here. Was told my team would not have to report until further notice. Some people with in my Department had to either work from home or go in. I am thinking more and more were told to work from home.
Everything around here in Milford, and the state have either reduced hours, closed and/or cancelled activities. Hiking is recommended, parks are recommended but Recreational rooms, and playgrounds are closed.

Where would you meet anyway? Any place where people could gather seems to be closed. I suppose someone could host at their house, but the way things are going it won't be long before police are busting down the doors of any house with too many cars parked in front.

Some of the people on the other team are actually friends of mine that live in the same complex of me. According to work we wouldn't even be allowed to take a walk together or even have a pizza together. I totally understand why they are requesting it but after awhile I miss my friends.

I am grateful for my board buddies here. Although my new pup is great company, her vocabulary is limited. I miss the camaraderie of my work team. Work is super quiet too, so the days are going by slowly. So glad I have folks to chat with here. Thanks all

Without Nas's censorable adjectives, just for starters, you could say there's "criminal negligence", "reckless disregard for human life", "deliberately exposing the public to a lethal contagion", and as the President called this a war, add "aiding and abetting the enemy", "germ warfare", "treason"... It's not illegal, but if it were, "raging stupidity" would head the list. I'm sure y'all can think of lots more.
Maybe I should say I'm joking? I'd be really surprised if anyone was ever actually held accountable for deeds done in sheer ignorance.

New Jersey is basically shut. I live in a relatively quiet development which backs into so trails so I walk the dogs every day. I have seen more people out walking then usual.
This is week 2 my husband has been working from home. My daughter is on spring break (community college) and then goes to on line education. She works in retail and as of today they are closed. She also works in a family owned ice cream store and they are not opening for the spring for now.
My son is a sports events coordinator in another state. This should be their busy time (AAU football). Not a good situation when all the events are cancelled. He is working from home for now, not sure for how long. Every day on the payroll is a good day
I am a nurse in a Pediatric office. I had a rare cold (I am never sick) so out of an abundance of caution I stayed home. I am headed back today. We are seeing the first cases in our local area. I feel that it is more an issue of when not if I will be exposed or sick .... not as worried about myself as transmitting it to someone else. It is a scary new world.

Luckysmom, I worry about all of you in public service. One niece is an emergency room nurse, a nephew and his wife are EMTs. I say a prayer for the police, firemen, and all the rescuers, every time I hear a siren. God bless you and all the caretakers.

Also spare a thought for the people that man food shops. A) They are in contact with so many people B)They are getting complained at for not having things on the shelves.
