{Spoiler Warning - Click Here}This is Gibbs! First, the hands give it away. Second, when the shooter is shown from above, one sees short silver hair under the cap and you can see the white shirt, the polo over it. All good points. I'll also add: I'm also leaning towards Gibbs being the sniper because if it were a real threat, there's no way that McGee wouldn't take cover as soon as he was shot at. He definitely wouldn't take a hit to the arm and get up still try to take on the plane. He'd take cover and try to find out who was shooting him.
Additionally, There's not a drop of blood to be seen anywhere.

From the looks of it, Episode 3 might pick back up to where the airport situation was happening. Considering NCIS likes cliffhangers though, and these episodes are still from the intended end of last season, it might be a more involved arc though and span several more episodes, or at least until what would have been the intended Ep1 for this season.

wow! not one comment about the season opener since pkidelerium posted last night!
🤔 must’ve been a really good episode, huh? eta: 3 C’s & 2 B’s? pretty underwhelming ratings...

nas I'm totally swamped with work or else I'd have more to say. I've been working some crazy overtime. (Watching the episode yesterday was an indulgence!) I want to gather my thoughts and watch the episode again before I post but I'm not sure if I'll have time in the next few days. I enjoyed the episode but it was clearly a piece of a much larger puzzle, which makes it hard to grade.

There are very few episodes I get excited over on NCIS. They are usually good. It was a bit confusing at times but I continued to watch it. I will have to watch it again to really get the gist of it.

Nas, I watched this Tuesday night and even though I watched it Tuesday night I found it confusing and muddled. I hoped to be able to watch it again today but well that didn't happen.
I'm glad it's back, looking forward to next weeks show.

I think I need to rewatch the beginning of last season again to refresh my memory on some of the things that happened around the time that Gibbs went "Sturgeon Fishing."

Because of work I didn't get the chance to watch the episode until today. Good thing last season cut off where it did because I think a lot of people would be rather steamed if the season had ended on this one. The case with the missing body was rather fluffy filler, though it did catch me off guard when it wasn't Gibbs and the van that hit the fleeing perp. Actually, the vehicle that did hit him had this sort of feel to it:
(Yes, I did pick this scene because of Christopher Lloyd)

(Yes, I did pick this scene because of Christopher Lloyd) Oh I totally agree that the perp getting hit by the truck was played for comedy. The lunch bag with the hand flying high into the air and falling into the scene at the end actually made me laugh.

Just finished last night ... yeah I found it a little all over. Not sure what to make of if...
Really glad the season ended with Arizona - one of the best episodes in a long time!
I am looking forward to the next episode!

I was the first vote with a C, let's just say I'm glad the production shutdown happened before they had actually made this one.
