Emily Fornell isn’t in the guest list. Perhaps she’s already OD’d and died.

Emily Fornell isn’t in the guest list. Perhaps she’s already OD’d and died. Considering that this is a flash back to 2019, I doubt it. This is supposed to be happening around 17x08 Musical Chairs, when Gibbs disappeared and left McGee in charge.

ewwwww!! eta: I just got a much closer look at the pix of Gibbs & Fornell... that’s not a ponytail! that’s just a few little strands of hair wrapped in a rubber-band!
unlike the late/great Sir Sean Connery (who we discussed the other day ), I don’t think Joe Spano can make the “thinning hairline” work... AND growing a ponytail doesn’t improve his look - he just looks like a scruffy old man! I might add, when he was a regular on the old 80’s series Hill Street Blues he was a good looking young man...now he looks like an aged-out hippie... (I know, I know! Maxine & I live in a glass house, so we shouldn’t throw stones... our boobs headed south years ago! 😕)

Sneak peeks galore!

My thoughts on that first sneak peak:
{Spoiler Warning - Click Here}It only took 18 years but they finally shot McGee! But considering that this is a flashback and he wasn't hurt throughout last season, does that mean he was hiding those injuries? Looking forward to that explanation!
On second viewing: {Spoiler Warning - Click Here}I wonder if that's Gibbs on the roof of the airplane hangar and 'shooting' McGee is being faked? They very purposefully don't show the shooter's face. If that's the case, then that makes me happy that Gibbs brought McGee in to help him with Fornell's daughter's case and he's not completely going rogue.

{Spoiler Warning - Click Here}This is Gibbs! First, the hands give it away. Second, when the shooter is shown from above, one sees short silver hair under the cap and you can see the white shirt, the polo over it.

I'll also add: I'm also leaning towards Gibbs being the sniper because if it were a real threat, there's no way that McGee wouldn't take cover as soon as he was shot at. He definitely wouldn't take a hit to the arm and get up still try to take on the plane. He'd take cover and try to find out who was shooting him.
