Geez, I haven't seen Stepfanie Kramer in years. Who is she? She played the female detective in Hunter opposite Fred Dryer (who guest starred in a previous season).

OMGosh, I can't believe I'm actually writing this, but I really, really liked this episode - a lot!! I laughed out loud more than once and found the subject matter of the story line totally fascinating...
from the moment when Torres said, "Man, that app is awesome." referring to Parker's pet app Bandium (in view of my current "battles" with my computers, this line struck me as particularly funny) - to the final scene that made me go "awwwww ", it was great!
I Gary Cole as Agent Parker; he just puts a whole new, refreshing spin on the lead character - - um, Gibbs, who? (mchnelson, are you reading this? you really oughta give him a chance...) I the friendship that Torres and Knight are developing - not a hint of "'shipping" or sexual innuendo - just plain ol' comraderie, with a bit of humorous teasing tossed in for good measure... even the exchange between Kasie and Director Vance was entertaining...
well, I don't know how much of the hologram stuff was just exaggerated or unlikey/bogus, but I found the subject entirely fascinating, and Torres' and Knight's 180 reaction to it was very amusing...
now, I hope that there are more episodes like this one tonight - and if the difference is because Mark Harmon has left the show, then I hope he stays happily retired...

It’s okay Nas I’ll continue to give it a miss. If Fox were to be still showing it in the U.K. I might have watched but I am not paying Disney for the channel it will air on in the New Year. I also cannot be bothered to download it now Mark is gone. I have been viewing the trailers and I cannot hear what GC says most of the time, he mumbles, not a clear voice.

I actually sat and watched it in its entirety last night and it was humourous and good.

One of the better episodes of the year. Based on the old theory that whoever has no reason to do the crime is the criminal, my wife and I figured out whodunit quickly. That allowed us to just sit back and enjoy the episode. I thought I would miss Bishop at lot. Still miss the character, but Knight is growing on me quickly. That's a compliment to both the actress and the writers. Now if they just won't make Knight and Torrez an item.

I didn't say much about the "crime" itself in my previous post, but imho it was kinda' weak... and as the old saying goes, "with friends like that, you don't need enemies!"

Nas, since stopping watching I have come to the conclusion, that if it wasn't for all of the "in-person contact", I was lucky enough to have had with Mark since around season 2/3, that a bit like with William Petersen on CSI, I would have wanted to stop watching NCIS many years ago and been longing for Mark to leave, like Billy did on CSI after 10 seasons, so I could stop watching NCIS. It was a shame that Covid put paid to the last "in-life meeting" with the entire cast in LA for the 400 episode, it would have been a nice ending.
I will forever be grateful for all of the opportunities for trips and friends that have arisen because of this tv show. At my age, there won't be this chance again and I'm so pleased I grabbed on to it and went for the ride.
Oklahoma (lots of times), Omaha, because David went for a 50th anniversary showing of "The Great Escape", Alaska, train to Denali, Germany (who knew how much I'd like the place!), sleeping in a Lighthouse in Wales, National Trust, Tenement building stay in Edinburgh, just off the Royal Mile, Dover Castle staying for a week, LA x 3, including the working set visit. The main things I thank NCIS for.

I've been holding back my comments on this, but now seems to be a good time, at least in my schedule.
While the humor everyone is talking about is here, the case was somewhat weak and I had two major problems with this one. Something I would have expected NAS to be screaming about.
One. A company that charges $250,000 to produce a hologram of a person has their technology easily reproduced by a forensics' tech? Seriously?
Two. A horrifying waste of Stephanie Kramer's talents. Lie down on the ground and play dead. Lie down on a table and play dead. Sit in a chair and read your lines. You could have gotten a no-name, no-talent beginner to do that. (and yes, there are people of all ages looking to get into acting on TV and the movies. We are easy to find)
This one got a D from me.
And what's happened to NAS? Was she exchanged by aliens?
