Ok, I think this a new level of stretching things. I've suspended disbelief for relatives of agents and actors working on federal cases, a doctor who did internship and residency without his friends noticing, and characters that can be practically standing on a detonating bomb without getting a scratch, but a strip mall having a parking garage? That's too far. Unless you're talking about something like Chicago's magnificent mile being a strip mall, there's just no way a strip mall would have that kind of traffic.

My guess is that Christopher Waild (the writer credited above) has never been to a strip mall.

I thought the very same thing last night as I was writing my response, verdun, but I decided not to make comment about it… but as long as you mention it - - it’s obvious to me that most of those NCIS script writers don’t live in the real world, based on their unrealistic storylines/plots…
nas
eta: all it would have taken was to write it as a shopping mall instead of a strip mall… what a difference a word makes! just sayin’…

you have a much better recollection of that episode, Hari… refresh my memory, pls… nas Maybe I don't. I thought it was an outdoor mall, but looking at the episode it was called Kingston Plaza. A Google of Kingston Plaza brings up an area called Reston Town Center, which is not so much of a mall as a downtown area that is a mix of a park with a pavilion for small concerts, shopping area, and restaurant area. The one thing I got right is that it has a parking garage. and here's the clip from the episode:

Sorry, but that preview clip got me laughing, since the end just looks like Parker falling asleep and keeling over.
Hope my wife and I do better at staying awake through this one. Sounds like there will be lots of familiar views for us to notice, since any mention of parking structure usually is near Valencia Town Center -- which is where most generic mall shots are from, or along Town Center Dr with its higher-end stores, and the hotel across the street. I miss walking the mall, but not the high cost of living back in SoCal.

Ok, was the senator thecrazy lady from season 2, it sounded like her voice. She was definitely the sex-crazed, crazy lady from the season 2 episode Conspiracy Theory. The one that was quizzing McGee whether he wore boxers or briefs. lol Brigid Brannagh.

It was driving me crazy, so I had to get out of bed, just to check the credits.
