I had high hopes because “FBI” is a new Dick Wolf show but is was drier than burnt toast and none of the main characters was interesting or intriguing. I think I’ll be having a free hour between the 2 Tuesday night NCIS shows.

I had no hopes for FBI, NewBe - didn’t even care for the promo trailers...
but I thought, “what the heck, I’ll give it a shot - there’s nothing else on at this hour...”
well, that lasted about 3 minutes! I switched it off after the second KABOOM!!!! brought down the entire building...
enuf of that cr@p! 😖
on a different note, I did watch NBC’s Manifest on Monday night:
Storyline
After a turbulent, but routine flight, the passengers and crew discover the world has aged five years, yet no time has passed for them, and soon a deeper mystery unfolds.
the pilot episode was interesting enough... if it maintains, I’ll watch it - if not, I’ll watch Monday Night Football 🏈... 😉

I’ll give Manifest a chance on Xfinity/Comcast on line. Or Maybe On Demand. Although I quite liked “Lost” this seems a bit too similar.

I, too, was a huge fan of Lost for the first few seasons, NewBe... but after it got so crazy and convoluted I quit watching... I don’t remember even watching the series finale episode, but learned about it afterwards... as I recall it was a pretty unsatisfying ending...
so, yeah, I thought Manifest might be a takeoff on Lost, but there’s really no original ideas left for tv shows and big screen movies these days... they’re all just “a variation on a theme”, ya’ know...
(even football and basketball are the same - - make a touchdown, make a basket... the team with the most points wins!! )

I think I was in the minority, I loved the series finale of Lost.
I does seem the writers had no plan (probably thought the series wouldn't last very long) so the last couple of seasons were lacking. I stuck it out though.

Wasn't too impressed with FBI either. Might have potential, but it started off rather sluggish.

I didn't get to watch it but I'm also a Dick Wolf fan and hoped it would be good although the previews were a bit meh. Maybe I'll give it a try later in the season.

Yeah, we were on our laptop/tablet after a few minutes of FBI, just waiting around to see how quickly Dwayne Cassius Pride recovered from multiple gsws to the chest (which, although fired by a world-class assassin, managed to not score a direct hit on any area that would be instantly or definitely fatal). Like Nas, we were intrigued enough by Manifest to see where it leads (I am leaning toward Alien Body Snatchers).
