My binge watching Netflix dramas continues. I’ve watched the 8 episodes from Season 1 in the last 10 days.
I want to thank Shonda Rimes for putting this series on Netflix making it next to impossible to air it on broadcast TV. Unless, of course, they created several risque scenes to replace the Netflix ones. I won’t watch the sanitized version if they exist.
It’s a helluva fun show and I love the “Hamilton-sequel” casting.
Very satisfying Season Finale which would have worked as a Serious Finale if it hadn’t earned a S2.
Won’t go into specifics to not spoil anything. It’s too good to not let everyone watch I did - totally unspoiled.

I watched the first three or four episodes a while back. I wasn't as impressed as you were. I also watched "The Queens Gambit" all the way through. A better show and better through story I thought. Also, better story telling and acting.

I watched this after reading don't watch this with your parent!! As a warning for millennials to not have Watch Parties with parents as the shut down continued.
We enjoyed the show.
I also binged Tiger King and don't recommend that to anyone.... that's a whole world of crazy that doesn't need to be shared.....

Also, better story telling and acting. If understand correctly, the show is based on books - Regency Romances - more explicit than Harlequin’s.

PD,
I’ve watched the entirety of The Crown (40 episodes) All of Kobra Kai (30 episodes). Glad they were renewed. And All of Picard and Discovery too.
I watched Call The Midwife’s first 4 seasons on Netflix because I missed them on PBS. Now I’m entirely caught up. The 10th season began tonight.

I watched Picard when it came out. I was very disappointed in it. I was thinking of skipping Season 2, but when I discovered Q would be back, I'm considering re-subscribing to CBS all access, Now Peacock.
I found a DVD of "Shetland" at HPB three or four months ago. I really like that show, but I'm rarely home on Thursday nights to watch when it's shown locally.
My TV viewing is limited to Saturday morning English Premier League. My work schedule is 2 to 11 PM, so no TV at night. NCIS and Hawaii is limited to All Access during the following week.
The shows I followed for a time period on PBS were "Inspector Lewis", "Father Brown", "Death in Paradise", "Endeavor", and the afore mentioned "Shetland". I only subscribed to Netflix to watch "The Queen's Gambit".
While I am a Star Trek fan, I've no interest in the new versions, other than "Picard". They've gotten far to PC for me.
