@ gibbsgirl…
I notice quite often that D Mc doesn’t appear on the Regular Cast listing, even though he appears in the episode, and is obviously still a part of the show….
go figure! 🤷♀️

Always good to see College of the Canyons make a cameo - our son spent 2 years of high school and 2 1/2 years of college on that campus, and my wife took a few classes there, herself...
Also, I am assuming that the college student had some Naval connection, and they are not just investigating because of the connection between the girl and Delilah. On the other hand, any excuse to bring the lovely and charming Margo to the screen is okay by me...

A Delilah episode is always a good episode.
I kinda figured out one of the bad guys, when they bugged out the first time in the dorm room.

wow! the response to this episode is underwhelming! I guess I’m not surprised because, imho, this was just another poorly written NCIS storyline…
my comments about it - in no particular order:
opening shot: guy running down the sidewalk tearing off his clothes and all the chick does is start filming him? no sense of shock or concern? is this what the world is coming to? how depressing…. 😕
so, McGee is writing another book? Knight doesn’t know who Tom E. Gemcity is, but Torres just happens to have a copy of Deep Six on his desk? c’mon - seriously!? um, no Jess! McGee is not the John Grisham of NCIS! he wrote two books 15 years ago! that hardly qualifies him as a world famous novelist… 😅
later in the episode Delilah says Tim hasn’t been motivated to write since Gibbs left… again, c’mon - seriously!? does everybody’s life on this show revolve around LJG? the man didn’t die! he moved on to Alaska - or wherever the hell he went up north… first Torres can’t deal with the fact that Gibbs “left him”, as if he was a child abandoned by his father, and now Tim hasn’t been able to write? what a ridiculous excuse!
and speaking of Delilah: it seems every time she makes an appearance on this show she has to demean McGee about something… she cuts him with words, bugs out her 👀, and leaves him standing there like a wuss… then at the end it’s always the kiss & make up scene - every. single. time! 😖
all the secondary characters in this episode were just goofy, over-the-top, weird… one hilarious moment: instead of running Logan takes off on a scooter, and Knight takes him down with a Frisbee! brilliant!!
how likely is it that Delilah and a college freshman would write a program that could endanger the entire world?
here’s a personal observation that has nothing particularly to do with the episode: after all these years why does Delilah still use a manual wheelchair? there’s these nifty things called motorized wheelchairs that are a whole lot easier on the hands… I’m sure they can afford one!
so, the grades as I write this are two A’s and two F’s - - seems people either loved it or hated it!

But then again, I'm easily entertained.

Enjoyed it, even though the plot was lifted from Robert Redford’s Sneakers

Glad I'm not the only one who thought NCIS ripped off the movie Sneakers

I probably liked this better than most of you. Perhaps I just too much into the Xmas spirit these days.
This episode did have a few issues, but in spite of 'em, I still enjoyed most of it. Great to see Delilah again. And the return of author Tim! They actually remembered he used to write novels and stuff. Yay! Though I thought his explanation of his "writer's block" was a little lame. As was mentioned earlier, Gibbs is still (presumably) alive and enjoying retired life. Tim should still have plenty of material to draw inspiration from for his next book. And yeah, also thought it was a bit unbelievable that Knight didn't know about McGee being an author. They small talk about stuff all the time and the fact that Tim wrote "best selling" novels never came up? Ok.
And while I didn't think Tim should have gotten jealous of Delilah meeting with that student, doesn't it seem a bit odd they would keep meeting at a place off campus? Just seemed a bit weird to me. Also just knew that red headed teaching assistant of hers wasn't who she said she was. Though I was wrong about her being the killer. So at least they were a little less predictable this time around. And color me skeptical that Delilah and poor dead student could come out with a super duper code key that could break pretty much any sort of encryption. Granted a lot of things on this show aren't exactly realistic. But that just seemed a bit out there to me as well. So next time someone at NCIS says, "Sorry, I can't break into this <insert device here> due to it being encrypted..", just give Delilah a call and *poof* it will hacked I guess. <shrug>
Despite these problems, I liked it. I was still engaged into the story. And I liked seeing McGee resuming his writing career again. Kinda liked Knight and Kasie joking about their eavesdropping and Tim's expressions as they were doing so. Then again, perhaps I just easily entertained these days. So I gave it an A-. So sue me.
