I sincerely hope that there is no more Tiva, I am so over it and the message it sends young impressionable fans.

I doubt seriously if there are many young, impressionable fans watching NCIS, ballerina…
actually, your comment brings up a good question: what is the age group most watching this show? 🤔 I bet one of y’all has the answer/statistics for that…
eta: I answered my own question by just Googling it!
What age group watches NCIS?
Image result for What is the age group for people watching NCIS Those elements make for a show that appeals particularly to older audiences. The median age of an “NCIS” viewer is 60, and the show is most popular in Louisville; Pittsburgh; Dayton, Ohio; and Kansas City, Mo., according to CBS. Overseas, it's most popular in Canada, France, Germany, Sweden and Italy.
that statistic dates back several years, but I doubt it’s changed much since it was originally published…

I am referring to the unhealthy, toxic, and abusive nature of the Tiva relationship. So many young fans look at what they see on TV and think that’s what real love is, I have read so many comments online by people who are young making remarks about this “ship”. So many young people think this “ship” is love goals. They shouldn’t look at TV characters that way, but so many do. I have a few NCIS accounts I follow on Instagram, just because of the people behind the account, not the show itself. This topic has come up a lot. So much of what Ninja girl has done absolutely qualifies as abusive. Personally, I have zero tolerance for any show/movie that promotes, normalises, glamourises, and romanticises unhealthy, toxic, and abusive relationships. Many of the things Ninja did, are abusive. Seeing so many young people obsess over this storyline, and speak as though it’s a love story out of a movie concerns me. If people struggle to recognise something in a make believe world, they will have an even harder time recognising it in real life. So many people struggle in abusive relations, many don’t even recognise the different types. They know physical and sexual, but not so much verbal, emotional, mental, narcissistic, financial, etc. This topic is so important to me because I myself have suffered in an abusive relationship, and multiple loved ones have. I have almost lost loved ones this way, and a late neighbour of mine lost his daughter to one in the late 70’s.
I know many will disagree with my comment, and that’s perfectly fine. However, for me watching the things that Miss Z. has done, and recognising them as abusive is frustrating. The show parades her around on a pedestal, and continues to give her one free pass after another. For me, I am not okay with the way TPTB are writing this. If they had found a different way to make this “ship” that didn’t involve abuse, I could accept that, I still wouldn’t like it, but I could accept that story. I know there are a lot of older fans, but there are a lot of young viewers as well, in their teens to early 20’s. It bothers me that this “ship” is being promoted as a love story, because then younger people see it that way, and it can make it more difficult to see what is and is not healthy in real life. Young people obsess about their favourite shows, and stars. Some young people are so obsessed with their favourite celebs, that they copy anything they do, or follow celebs beliefs on things, even if they don’t really agree with the opinion.
Again, I know a lo will disagree with me. This is just my two cents, and something that I am very passionate about as a result of how it has impacted my life, and of those I love.
The last thing that bothers me is the way young Tiva fans treat those that aren’t fans of Ninja. I saw multiple comments of fans who wanted Kasie removed because she didn’t immediately worship Ninja. Not all of her fans, but a lot are this way. They are rude, disrespectful, and at times cruel to anyone who says anything against Ninja girl. That’s not okay to me, it’s one thing to like her character, but another to be rude to others who aren’t fans. Many fans have come and gone over the years, as many characters have come and gone. Ninja isn’t the only character in the show, to me though, it feels as though the show caters to her, which is annoying, especially due to her behaviour. Many fans had stories they wanted to see over the years with: Jenny, Caitlin, Jenny/Gibbs, Tony/Zoey, Tony/Caitlin, Abby stories some including McGee,Ellie/Nick, etc. People have accepted that these and others are long ago done, but somehow Tiva fans act very entitled and think they’re owed this story. Which is again frustrating, because of the unhealthy nature of he “ship”.
I mean no disrespect to anyone in anyway. This is just my personal opinion, I just have zero tolerance for unhealthy, toxic, and absusive relationships being promoted this way. Unfortunately, it happens far to often on TV/in movies, and I’m just not okay with that. I know people will disagree with me, and that’s okay. This is just how I feel. Also, I didn’t intend for this to be so long.

I read the original article which is from Radar Online and it had a bunch of 'our sources said' and all kinds of vague speculation that's typically used to write a click-bait article. I don't think that they're entirely reliable but don't know for sure, which is why I didn't post it here. Either way, the last reliable information from showrunner Steve Binder basically said there weren't any plans to have either Mark or Michael back in the near future.

note: I thought I posted the following response a while ago, but guess I didn’t hit the “create post” button… so, here goes again:
OMGoodness, ballerina! you don’t post long replies very often, but when you do they’re really good!
you are obviously very passionate about the “ship” subject, and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts/opinions with me and others on this board…
it’s really unfortunate that there are people who are rude and disrespectful, and cannot be civil if they don’t agree with another person’s opinion - it’s the sign of the times, I guess…. 😕
I never cared for the Ziva character, and what you wrote about her, imo, is so true! thank you for sharing…

When I read the article I was not sure what to think. It sounded kind of vague. But like nas my thought was who goes if one of them come back? I am enjoying Gary Cole. So either one of them wants to come back and check in great - but no desire to mix things up more than that.

This doesn't sound one bit like something Gary Burghoff would write. There is only one Radar, and this must be an imposter.

Radar Online is not exactly a reliable source. Usually it's some insider with no name that states something, this equals bullshit usually. I haven't read one article so far that had any truth in it.
MW has moved to the East Coast for Bull, his wife has a job there as well. He may give a guest appearance in the future, but I doubt he'll come back full time because that means either moving or being separated from his family for months.
MH is still an EP and probably has a say about that topic. He probably will do guest appearances only in the future. He has several projects in development as EP and probably tries to get some of them started now because during the peak of Corona they didn't move forward.
That being said... No more Tiva please. No more Abby would be awesome too. Ziva and Abby were both toxic to the people around them.

I apologize for posting this Radar Online article without checking out the source first… I guess I’m not savvy enough about the many publications to differentiate between the reliable sources and the b.s. ones… mea culpa…. 😕
that said, whether it be fact or fiction, the subject matter did generate some interesting responses from readers of the original article where it posted, and here on this forum…
so, a little mental stimulation is a good thing… 😉

I was merely stating that the site isn't reliable. I apologize if that came across as criticism. 😔 Rador Online is the web equivalent to print magazines National Enquirer/Examiner in my opinion.

nas Well. I guess we can forgive. But just say "Ziva was great" 50 times to be sure.

oh, I didn’t consider that a criticism, jessielee; no offense taken… I was just saying I should have known that Radar Online is an online “yellow rag”… if anything, I learned something new today - - live & learn, nas, live & learn! 🙂 I ❤️ ya’, verdun, but I’d rather stay unforgiven than to say that penance 50 times!
