Okay. Now what is it. Nick really seems to have issues with doing anything "ordinary". Wearing the NCIS gear. Sitting in his desk chair (hasn't done it at all yet). If he hadn't sat there yet what made Bishop think he'd do so now?
Why would Jimmy even think about telling the NCIS team that one of the Sherlocks got elected sheriff somewhere?
So the Sherlocks knew Jimmy was an MD?
Friends might be stretching it a bit there, Hoss.
Senior getting called "Probie". Maybe Jimmy chose it since he's the only one who would have known it was a thing. Tony suggested he join - maybe to try and keep him out of Team Gibbs hair (didn't work out).
Kettering and Centerville are two cities in Ohio.
Is Brian/Jimmy now taller than Mark/Jethro?
Alarm at crime scene. There at behest of Sheriff Walt.
Excuse me Nick. Dropping the "suspect" for now reason at all?
Seriously?! A US Navy ship allowed the "Sherlocks" aboard? Even if deputized by their sheriff member they still shouldn't be allowed on that ship.
Original Gibbs wouldn't put up with this nonsense!
Senior being given "Junior" lines. On it boss.
Not fond of Judith.
Abby uses Quinn for Alex. First woman she's call by last name unless she was ticked off.
Gibbs sofa is a sectional.
Reason why Senior is working with the Sherlocks.
Still no info on what Tony is doing to make a living while living in Paris - one of the most expensive places to live in the world.
Oh Jeeze. Looks like Judith told Senior she and Gibbs were lovers. He stops by for a steak dinner (Gibbs expected him). Takes it to go so he can go "woo" Judith with Gibbs permission.
Not his sister. Grieving hubby has a girlfriend.
Gibbs hiding in the shadows of the interrogation room.
Senior on the prowl for a wealthy widow again?
I don't think Lyle is going to give that important information to Walt.
No Clayton Reeves.
Could Mike Kettering have a twin?
Barking up wrong tree with Taj (that file Jimmy have to Lyle)?
Yow! "Trust me. He's already up." Risque for 8-9pm.
Knew it wasn't the brain soft, Taj.
Hope Gibbs is right.
Makes sense. Already through security.
That isn't the other guy.
Lyle.
File was a red herring.
Why no information about Tony other than he's still in Paris with Tali?

Why would Jimmy even think about telling the NCIS team that one of the Sherlocks got elected sheriff somewhere? More like he should have recognized the name of the place they were going and made the connection. Maybe Tony suggested it when he was arranging it for his father. He did like the term. He did with that one female sheriff in season 2, the episode where the wife had an identical twin nobody knew about. Somehow it had me thinking of the "So that's how it is in their family..." scene in Ferris Bueller. At least while attached to Senior she shouldn't be chasing Gibbs. I'm pretty sure they said that or very similar in Night Court way back when and they're more permissive now.

I'm betting that Ziva had a hefty insurance policy, and Tali is the beneficiary.

I'm betting that Ziva had a hefty insurance policy, and Tali is the beneficiary. That's probably it. I just don't like Tony living off it even if he's raising Tali. And a couple million really doesn't go as far as many people would think. Tali is only 2 and a half so Tony not working isn't a good idea. Lots and lots of single parents out here in the real world and I'd venture to guess the vast majority have jobs.

Alex makes a comment about a pizza joint in Brooklyn - Throw back to "Blue Bloods". CBS does it again.
First we get "Off the gird", a really good episode, then we get "Keep Going", another really good episode. Just when it looks like the new Show Runners have their legs under them and are well on their way to making this a better show, we get "Non-Stop". What a waste.
And now Reeves hasn't been on in two weeks. For a new regular, he sure has missed a lot of shows.

I could have done without the Sherlocks. I didn't mind Sr. being in the episode. They could have found some other way to work him into the plot. Liked the crime story though. Not at all surprised Sr. used to smuggle Cuban cigars into the country. LOL

What a waste of TV viewing time. First NCIS was a bust with the "SherwishIwassomethings" and the lousy episode, and then "BULL" was a huge disappointment with whatever they had on Tuesday night.
BTW, Love the new background.
It's called a remote control. It has a channel up button, a channel down button, and a power off button. Get familiar with this device, learn to use it.
How can we expect the world to trust in a loving God, when His followers can be so full of hate?

Gosh I haven't seen this yet and now I am not so sure I want to...well I probably will anyway...There will always be a string of good ones and one that is less than stellar.

NCIS - Nonstop - Review: “We All Need a Little Help From Our Friends”
14.13 - “Nonstop” Directed by Mark Horowitz Written by Brendan Fehily Reviewed by Kelly Anne Blount
We start out this week’s episode with a pizza delivery man, but instead of delivering a piping hot fresh pie, delivery man finds a dead body.
Bishop is studying Torres. He’s allegedly going over the “Norfolk case.” Side note, I used to live twenty minutes away from Norfolk and the number one way to tell if someone is not from the area is how the pronounce it. If you’re local or know the area well, you typically say, “NOR-f'k” or “NAW-f'k,” at least that is what I found from my time living there.
Anyways, Bishop and Quinn are betting on whether or not Torres will sit in his chair. He doesn’t and Quinn wins $20.00. Gibbs is even in on it.
Over at the crime scene, the team is investigating Petty Officer Second Class Mya Kettering’s murder. Ducky speculates that the cause of death is strangulation.
The team is joined by Walter a.k.a. Sheriff Osorio. The Sheriff is part of The Sherlocks, a group that Dr. Mallard used to belong to and now Jimmy has taken his place. Gibbs says that they (i.e., Sheriff Osorio and basically The Sherlocks) can work together on the case.
The Sherlocks are investigating the case. NO WAY! Tony’s dad, a.k.a. Anthony DiNozzo, Sr. is part of The Sherlocks, as is the Sheriff, author Judith McKnight, Lyle, and Dr. James Palmer. They are a privately funded investigation team that tackle cold cases.
The victim’s last activity was ordering a pizza. Her husband has flown home from his business trip and is at HQ. Bishop is interviewing him. He admits that they keep five thousand dollars stashed in a coffee can in the freezer. He admits that Mya, “had a blow up with her department head,” the last time her ship docked. Bishop tells Mr. Kettering that his home will be processed as a crime scene overnight. She asks him if he has some place else to sleep. He says that he does, but there’s a weird pause… Wonder where he’s staying?
Over in the morgue, Ducky calls Jimmy, “Doctor.” I love it! He also asks Jimmy if he wants to present his findings to Gibbs, which he is ecstatic about; however, as soon as Gibbs walks in, Dr. Mallard does the presenting. Jimmy looks hurt. Poor, Jimmy!
The victim has a rash on her back. Abby is analyzing fibers found on the victim’s body.
Torres and McGee head back to the victim’s house. The seals are broken and an alarm repair man is in the house. Torres drops him and tosses his wallet to McGee. Turns out the Sheriff called in the security company to have the alarm removed. McGee is all, “Why didn’t we know about this?” And the Sheriff is all, “Why didn’t you notify the Sheriff’s department you were coming?” Boom!
The money is missing from the freezer. Was this a robbery gone wrong?
Gibbs and Bishop head to the ship to investigate. They meet The Sherlocks, who are already there. The Sheriff deputized them, giving them access to the ship. The author is making passes at Gibbs.
Gibbs walks out of the room. Bishop asks, “Gibbs, where are you going?” His response? “Overboard.” I love this episode!
Back at Abby’s lab, Torres is admiring her open space. He’s acting a bit weird. Abby report that the fibers in the victim’s rash are from her living room carpet. She was dragged across the floor.
Bishop and Gibbs interview Mya’s Head Officer. She admits to being hard on her because she knew that Mya had a lot of potential. She says that Mya was one of her favorites. She said that she practically had to force Mya to take time off the ship.
McGee is at The Sherlock’s headquarters. I have serious library envy right now. The Sherlocks dug up dirt on Mya’s husband. Per Lyle, “He doesn’t live at home on the weekends.” Where does he go?
Abby is using Mya’s phone to find out where her husband has been hanging out on the weekends. He’s been going to Fredericksburg.
Gibbs is cooking steaks over his fire when DiNozzo Sr. stops over. Gibbs, knowing he’d stop by, already has a steak ready for DiNozzo Sr. Aw, Gibbs! Senior gives up an update on Tony and his daughter. Aw! I miss Tony! Tony encouraged his father to join The Sherlocks after he got home. He had been feeling down and they helped pick him up.
DiNozzo Sr. says that he has more to talk about with Gibbs. He thinks he that Gibbs and Judith McKnight had a thing. Gibbs denies it. DiNozzo Sr. asks if he can have Gibbs’ permission to court Judith. I’m weak! LOL! Happy to get her off his case, Gibbs gladly agrees.
Meanwhile, over at the stakeout in Fredericksburg, Torres and Bishop are stuck in the car with Lyle. Mr. Kettering shows up a short time later with a woman, who he kisses. Yikes!
Over at HQ, Bishop and Torres are interviewing the woman they photographed with Mr. Kettering last night. She says that he proposed three months ago. She claims that she has no idea that he was married.
Quinn is interrogating Mr. Kettering. He’s pissed that the NCIS team told his girlfriend about Mya.
DiNozzo Sr. and Judith are making eyes at each other and Jimmy is obviously uncomfortable.
The team is checking out Mr. Kettering’s girlfriend’s alibi and they are double checking his alibi as well. His alibi is airtight. No sign of paying someone to do it either. Gibbs says, “We’re missing something.” Couldn’t the five grand be considered payment?
Interesting! Eight people with the same alarm as the Ketterings have had their houses broken into over the past month. Is Taj the technician involved?
Taj tasers Lyle and then makes a run for it. Gibbs, trying to find Taj, accidentally walks in on DiNozzo Sr. and Judith in the bathtub.
Meanwhile, Taj jumps from the second story and tries to get away in his work van. Bishop busts the window out and stops him. Go, Bishop!
Back at HQ, Torres and McGee have Taj in an interrogation room. He has a program on his phone that shows which homes have their alarms on and which homes have turned their alarm off. He freaks out when they show him a picture of the deceased Mya Kettering. Taj has an alibi.
Mr. Kettering’s girlfriend also has an alibi. Who the heck committed this murder? Was it Lyle? Was it her Head Officer? Who? Who? Who?
Gibbs meets Mr. Kettering back at his house. He returns a key to Kettering. Gibbs lays it out to Kettering, he thinks that he’s the killer and that he got his girlfriend pregnant. When he asked Mya for a divorce, she wanted to work things out, seeing as she’s Catholic. Kettering is pissed, but Gibbs doesn’t have enough to arrest him yet.
DiNozzo Sr. calls Gibbs. He has a theory and it’s a good one! Kettering pulled a switch-a-roo by changing in the bathroom at the airports. He switched places with someone. Go, Senior!
Kettering totally killed his wife. Gibbs and the team tell Kettering that the man he switched clothes with is writing a full confession right now. I doubt it’s him, but Kettering totally falls for it and confesses.
Aw, the episode ends as Sheriff Osorio anoints DiNozzo Sr. as a fulltime member of The Sherlocks. I love it!
******* My Thoughts:
What a good episode! It was great to see DiNozzo Sr. again and I loved The Sherlocks!
The writers did a great job keeping us all on the edges of our seats during this episode. I totally thought Kettering had an airtight alibi, but the team prevailed and caught the bad guy.

If he invests it right, he should be able to make it last a lifetime. Also, I think Ziva probably knew DiNozzo would be using the money to support both of them. She would have preferred that to him trying to continue to work at NCIS and putting Tali in daycare.
