I wonder why since the beginning of season 15 there was no interaction between Gibbs and Abby. He didn't come to the lab, and they never met after his return, maybe they spoke once on the phone. Interesting observation. Let the conspiracy theories begin.

Good catch pdsmith! Of course, Reeves could have been drinking club soda. My spouse and I have a good friend who has been a friend of Bill's for over 20 years and has no problem drinking sodas at the bar while the rest of us are enjoying beers and cocktails. He just isn't tempted - but he goes to meetings regularly.

Also, since it was the following summer that he and Ellie backpacked around Switzerland and from the preview's, she knows, he would have had to have gone through rehab/faced his demons/admitted his problem just after they killed Kort. Again, we are dealing with time jumping from the end of one season to the beginning of another, but, you get my point I hope.
It's just going to be interesting to see how this works out.

hiked through Scotland, not Switzerland
Sober for five years. So, either they forgot that he a DiNozzo ran up a tab at a pub in England, or, as was stated above, he drank Club Soda. Have no idea what kind of tab you can run up with Club Soda. But I don't go to bars.

Agreed. I think they're handling the AA issue very well.

Most likely they forgot - while I still like the show I have definitely noticed they aren't very good at keeping track of the details. I was rather surprised they even remembered Tony used to be on the show and liked to prank McGee.

Not a bad episode and it gave us a chance to let Reeves do some acting (and he's pretty good). And again Bishop has a bigger role than either McGee or Torrez. Seems to be her year. I've said before I miss Quinn. It's not that I actually miss her so much as that I think the replacement is nothing special. Maybe they should have just left it with the people from last season staying around (except J. Esposito leaving) and not added a new person. And it's the second episode in a row without Ducky. Yucky!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else notice that McGee's "teenage" hair (Sean was 30 in the season 6 promo photo that they photoshopped. ) came from Melissa's accomplice, the nosy apartment manager? I noticed that the hair looked familiar when he let Bishop and Reeves into the apartment. Also, if Melissa had been any more of an obvious suspect, she would have had a neon light flash over her head saying "I did it!" Not their best mystery by any means. I kept thinking of Hamlet throughout the episode. The lady doth protest [waaaaaay] too much. However, there were some entertaining and informative bits in the episode that I liked: - Reeves was good and I thought they handled the AA part nicely. Although the characters really did bend over backwards to make sure he knew that it didn't matter to them. - The McMeme was good. I thought they might blame it on McGee's sister since she would have access to those old photos. That reveal and the subsequent revenge had me laughing out loud and I really enjoyed the reference to Michael's show Bull. (And also the call back to the episode where Tony actually used the phrase, 'Mess with the bull, and you get the horns.' - Anyone else think that Fornell might be Gibbs' friend in AA?

I noticed that the hair looked familiar when he let Bishop and Reeves into the apartment. They certainly should have been able to find a teen pic to use. Perhaps something out of Hocus Pocus. Something that bugged me is that Reeves should have noticed that the 'friend' who was supposed to pick her up never showed and if the bf had been the friend he would have had no reason to grab her. And perfectly timed with Brad Garrett guest starring on Bull: I was thinking that. Hard to believe he instantly stopped drinking right after his revenge killing of Sir Gay.

They certainly should have been able to find a teen pic to use. Perhaps something out of Hocus Pocus. I love Hocus Pocus. I watched it with my nephews last Friday night. (Yeah... got stumped on what to tell them when they asked what a virgin was. Told 'em to ask their Dad. Turns out they asked Grandma instead...) I would have loved it if they had used a picture from Hocus Pocus but they probably couldn't because of licensing issues. Actually, I saw somewhere that it was probably Gibbs' ex, Rebecca. Wasn't she desperate to see him in one of the episodes to make amends, as part of her 12 step program? Plus, we know that Gibbs was talking with her again. He was supposed to have dinner with her in the episode Off the Grid. It would make sense that she's told him details of the program.

It took me about 30 minutes to realize it was Rebecca he was referring to.
