NCIS Season 16 ViewersSo here is the chart I keep for the ratings. These are all live + same day viewers. The networks also track the +3 and +7 DVR numbers but I haven't kept up with those. If I get bored, I may look into the +7 numbers but I don't think that'll happen any time soon. I know a lot of people make a big deal about 'declining' viewers but ratings are always relative to what else is on and I think this chart helps to show that. The other tough part to determining viewers is the online and on demand viewers and those numbers are not released online.
Anyway, on average NCIS had 12.84 million viewers per new episode. (Repeats averaged around 7 million.) The most watched episode was Abby's finale, 15x22 Two Steps Back at 14.79 million and the least watched episode was 15x20 Sight Unseen at 11.27 million viewers. When NCIS aired new episodes, on average there were 35.82 million people watching the 5 broadcast channels which is down from 42 million viewers in season 8 (the first year I kept track).

At least Roseanne will be out of the equation next year.

So on average about a third of the people watching the 5 broadcast channels were watching NCIS. Not bad.
