She's probably just a ghost, but CDP was brought back and paid.
Leaving open if she is ever brought back in future episodes.
Giving the crazy people plenty to worry about next season...

Allow me to be the first to vote. I accidentally hit D when I meant to hit F. Worse than Jet Gag. At least that one I could make fun of. If she’s not another hallucination I’m out. For good. Someone will have to let me know because I won’t watch live in September. I didn’t even watch, I heard my brother yell a profanity (actually a dozen words I won’t put on here), and went to see what was wrong. He just looked at me and said “her”. Even he will not be watching live in September. He is not even sure he wants to watch anymore either.

Right now I’m still reveling in the wonderful Series Finale of The Big Bang Theory.

True, it will definitely bring in the Tiva obsessed snowflakes who are probably wetting their pants right now. Hopefully this is not what it seems and is just a ghost/hallucination to keep fans interested, which from a PR standpoint is understandable.

I just can’t, she leaves then two years later they bring her back in for MW awful exit, now three years later they resurrect her story again. For what purpose? I just can’t. 🤦🏻♀️ I should probably go to bed before I start ranting in Italian, lol.

Well I haven't fully made up my mind and I'm pretty sure I can't until I see where they go with this. But having said that, I'm interested in seeing where they go with this. It could be interesting. Or it could be really bad. It's like Schrodinger's Cat. Until we get season 17, it could be alive or dead. But we won't know until September. As for Emily, I know plenty of people may be ticked by what they did to her character but it unfortunately has happened to a lot of good people. It's definitely a 'ripped from the headlines' type story. It doesn't take much for people to become addicted to opioids. As much as I hated to see it happen, I'm kinda glad they didn't take the easy way out and make it so she was drugged. Lucky for her, she's got her father and Uncle Gibbs to help her through things.

Me too on the Emily storyline, Llyan. I’m glad they didn’t take the easy way out. It was the only part of the episode I liked and Joe Spano was fantastic.

Some of them are assuming next season is the last and that Mark is going to take a longer sabbatical to trave with Pam. Oh and some other online article is debunking the article that is claiming that Pam gave some type of ultimatum.

I never go to any NCIS FB group anymore.
Watching these days is more of a habit rather than enjoyment. Tonight was geared totally to bring back Ziva fans and they’ going to have to twist themselves into a pretzel to explain (there is no justification) if she’s not yet another hallucination.

Diane did say that they were all there inside him to help. which means they could bring back "Kate", "Jenny", "Dornaget"(sp?), "Frank", "Diane", "Macey", And all the rest who have bit the dust, including; Kort, Ari, Pedro, Paloma, The list could go on.

Wow... It is so hard for me to equate this show to the early season episodes.
The entire seeing dead people bit is over the top - Mike Franks, Diane ... not even sure if Ziva was supposed to be dead or alive.
Just curious, was that a "live" Cote appearance or a clip?
The story line with Emily, while I could have done without it was real and raw - not the easy way out.
While I will wait to see where they go with this (hopefully Ziva was another dead vision) I still cannot believe this is the same NCIS from the early seasons - where it was crisp and fresh and they solved cases, not had conversations with dead significant others and all have more drama in their lives than is basically humanly posssible.
Waiting to see where they go with this but it will probably be or a spectrum of whether it is dislike but tolerable to vomit inducing....

The story was so so...... allowing NCIS to look into it was thin.... even for my normally willing to stretch credulity self......
The conversations with Diane.... I wish I knew what they were going for.... she was bitchy and now we are to find Gibbs imagination Diane cute??? or thought provoking? well whatever we are to think... I must have missed that memo.....
While the opioid story is timely and I did really enjoy Fornell's acting..... he was the highlight of the show..... over the top at times but the scene where he acknowledges he missed this.... and he is losing his little girl..... heartbreaking..... all other players in this story were painful caricatures.... (In my opinion)
And then the final scene..... please let this be Gibbs mind slipping out his ear........

hi y’all!
I’m late to the game - thank heavens for my DVR!
it’s gonna be hard to write about this episode, but I’ll try... just random thoughts for now - maybe more later:
~~ Fornell’s out of control behavior really made me mad; he was acting like a total a-hole! drawing his gun and threatening the doctor who was only doing his job... in reality he should have been - and would have been - removed from the hospital immediately...but this is, you know, NCIS t.v.
~~ I never liked Diane before, and didn’t care much for “dead Diane” tonight - she’s still a shrew with a bad mouth...
~~ so, Gibbs’ meltdown continues and he’s talking to dead people... I talk to dead people, too, sometimes... (doesn’t everybody?) only, thank god, they don’t show up at my front door! they’re just in my head, so believe it or not I could understand those scenes with LJG and Diane...
~~ the way Gibbs got the case was a stretch, but how else could he have gotten it?
~~ speaking of that, it seems we’re seeing more of Ducky since he became the NCIS Historian than we did when he was the M.E... cool - ❤️ it! 👍
~~ Emily’s drug problem was sad, but at least they didn’t write her as a “poor innocent victim”... the one thing I thought was this: as belligerent as she was with her father, I found it hard to believe that she would have broken down as soon as Tobias opened his arms and looked like a sad little puppy dog... I bet lots of parents wished it was just that easy to reach their drug-addicted kid...
~~ now for the BIG SURPRISE ending! there’s no doubt in my mind that the appearance of “ninja-girl” is yet another visit by a dead person from Gibbs’ past... remember, Diane said “...we’re all here for you, inside.”
~~ what surprises me the most is that CdP even made that appearance! I was under the impression that she did not leave people on that show with many good feelings concerning her departure, and it would be a cold day in hell before she came back... “never say never”, eh? I do have to wonder if this was a one-shot deal - or if she will be back for the opener of Season 17...🤔
that’s all for now... I don’t even know how to grade this episode yet...
