Nas, Already confirmed she’ll be in the season 17 opener. I’m sure you know how I feel about that.

wow, NewBe! she’ll really be back? I’m totally amazed... I wonder who TPTB was that decided “Yeah, let’s get CdP back again.”
yep, I know how you feel about it, but I hope you won’t stick to your “I’m out!” if her return is only imaginary - and brief...

Yes I agree nas - I don't think too many actors that left the show are on good terms with the powers that be ....

One can only hope that her return is imaginary.

I doubt Ziva is another hallucination, not the way "She" ended with that note to Bishop.
CdP will be a guest for the S17 opener.
Am I happy about her return? NO! Because when she was on the show it was more like MOSSAD than NCIS plus she being a total MarySue.
I just hope, that they only bring her back for the opener, solve the case, introduce Ninja Barbie to Bishop and Torres and then let her go back to hiding/whatever. Just don't bring her back full time. The Ziva crazies are already back to dissing Bishop and the TIVA crazies joined the hype crying for Tony's come back.
As much as I hate Ziva's return I would hate Tony's return even more. I'll give that to the shippers that both their farewells sucked and I can understand that the Ziva/Tiva crazies wanted a better ending, so give them that and then only mention both, but don't let them appear again (and while you are at it, please remove Senior as well).
But kudos for the show to keep that stunt so under wraps!! The Live + ratings are probably going to explode since the cat is now out of the bag.

INT. BASEMENT - NIGHT In the corner farthest away from the door sits a poker table. Around the table sits GIBBS, PALOMA HERNANDEZ, PEDRO HERNANDEZ, TRENT KORT, and ARI. On the table sits a large stack of chips in the middle and equally large stacks of chips in front of each player. Around the basement standing or sitting are JENNY SHEPHERD, KATE, MIKE FRANKS, DIANE, MACY, POTCHY, and ZIVA.
MACY: He's bluffing.
MIKE: Probie don't bluff.
JENNY: Franks is right about that.
Paloma looks at her father who is closely examining his hand.
PALOMA: Are you going to raise, call or fold?
ARI: Don't rush the man.
Pedro pushes five chips out into the pile. But his stack doesn't go down any.
MIKE: Not smart.
KORT: If you don't mind over there, we're trying to concentrate here.
MIKE: It won't help you. Probie never loses.
KORT: Franks, you are just as annoying dead as you were alive.
MIKE: I don't remember working with you on any cases.
KORT: We didn't, but the CIA is always there.
JENNY: But just as frustrating, seen or not.
MACY: I still say he's bluffing.
Kort starts examining his cards and finds one is missing.
KORT: Hold on a minute, I'm missing a card. He looks around the table, then at the gallery of on lookers.
KORT (CONT'D) ZIVA.
Ziva puts on a "what? innocent little me?" look.
ZIVA: I haven't left my spot all night.
Unseen by Kort, she slips the Ace of spades to Kate, who knowingly takes it.
KORT: I had a . . . He stops looking around the table.
ARI: Clearly someone else doesn't bluff well. Ari takes his hands and places six chips in the pile.
ARI (CONT'D): I'll see your two-fifty and raise you fifty. Paloma smiles at him.
PALOMA: A risk taker. I like that.
KATE: She's been flirting with him ever since she arrived.
JENNY: Clearly they were made for each other.
Ari looks over at the other women standing by the boat.
ARI: Don't sulk, Kate, you had your chance.
Kate rolls her eyes.
DIANE: Are we going to get to the real reason we are here?
KATE: What would that be?
DIANE: I don't know, Gibbs is the one who summoned us.
JENNY: Jethro isn't going to talk.
PALOMA: Jethro, it's a fitting name for you, Gibbs.
MIKE: As long as he keeps winning . . .
Suddenly all the cards vanish from the player's hands. Paloma and Kort react with frustration while Pedro never takes his eyes off of Gibbs, Ari wryly smiles, and Gibbs sighs.
GIBBS: Ziver.
ZIVA: I'm tired of standing around. Why are we here?
MIKE: You've got something better to be doing?
JENNY: Franks, for once, shut up.
I've been sleeping on that all night. The formatting isn't correct, but this platform doesn't support Hollywood standard script writing key commands.

hi y’all!
I’m late to the game - thank heavens for my DVR!
it’s gonna be hard to write about this episode, but I’ll try... just random thoughts for now - maybe more later:
~~ Fornell’s out of control behavior really made me mad; he was acting like a total a-hole! drawing his gun and threatening the doctor who was only doing his job... in reality he should have been - and would have been - removed from the hospital immediately...but this is, you know, NCIS t.v. And most likely arrested for ADW even if the doctor said no charges. One of the few things I liked was that they actually addressed it. Most of the time they just take the jurisdiction when they shouldn't and not a word is said.Agreed!
Since it hasn't been mentioned I guess it didn't pop into anyone else's head. It's more the sort of thing that would be done on TBBT or at least a comedy show, but when Fornell was getting Gibbs to channel Diane and was actually seeing Diane sitting there, I had this dread that he was going to try to kiss her and get Gibbs. What they did do with Diane answering Gibbs' phone and Fornell shaking himself to his senses actually was funny.Except they also had Emily say that thing about the dream with Diane saying Gibbs' house smelled like burned cheese when she had said the same thing to Gibbs earlier in the episode, so they seem to want us to think the ghosts are real. One thing that could redeem having her: Gibbs, tired of all the ghost visits, reacts to Ziva by yelling, "Get out of my head already!" then draws his gun and shoots Ziva between the eyes. The remainder of the episode focuses on coming up with a way where Gibbs is determined to have thought he'd been hallucinating, but is somehow not permanently relieved of duty.

after reading the following article, it’s making me think about the comment I made in my first post - that “ninja-girl” is just another of LJG’s hallucinations:
www.eonline.com/news/1043416/ncis-just-pulled-off-a-big-surprise-in-season-16-finale
if, indeed, Z has come back as a flesh and blood live person I will probably join NewBe in her “I’m out!” exit...
I just cannot understand how TPTB could justify her leaving her toddler child with a man who never knew she existed! unless, they write that she’s been with them all along in Paris, which is equally unbelievable!
as I’ve said before, it seems the writers are revisiting old storylines, and getting close to scraping the bottom of the barrel... this whole “Ziva returns” idea, is exactly what I’m talking about...

nas Last night I actually tweeted out a jumping shark emoji. No comment. No tagging the show. Just the shark. There was barely a case and the justification for NCIS investigating was so clear paper thin I could see through it.
To cleanse my pallet of that idiotic appearance I watched Fosse/Verdon on FX.

😂😂
I watched 2 hours of a show about the Bermuda Triangle... somehow that seemed appropriate...
you know, NewBe, that may have been an “idiotic appearance” to you and me (and some others), but from the NCIS production point of view it was a brilliant move...
our NCIS Break Room board hasn’t been this active in ages, and I’m quite sure that the show’s Season 17 opener will be rated as one of the “Most Anticipated of the Century!”...
that’s certainly one way to breathe life into a show that, imho, has been “circling the drain” for a while...

Generating this much attention, either negative or positive is a winner for the show. Like you said, this board even is the most active it has been in a long time....
