So I did this last year but needless to say, I was a bit hesitant to do it again this year. I know the season ending twist was polarizing but I hope that people can judge the season as a whole and not just on the last thirty seconds. Anyway, I'll put my responses in the next post.

Favorite Episode: Fragments. I don’t think it’s even close even though there were a lot of really good episodes this season. I think it’s because it was such an unexpected episode. I was fully expecting a Gibbs-centric episode but got a really good McGee episode instead. Sean knocked it out of the park and Charlie Robinson and Fred Dryer were also great guest stars.
Favorite Moment: Tim throwing Gibbs off the case and the following basement scene in Hail & Farewell. Really thrilled to see how much McGee has grown and that he was willing to stand up to Gibbs. I hated that they walked that progress back Lost Time.
I'd say the runner up moment was Gibbs giving the judge the perp walk into the courtroom at the end of ...And Executioner. The scene was perfectly paired with the song Way Down Below by Kaleo. As I described it in the episode thread, it was darkly triumphant.
Least Favorite Episode: Bears and Cubs. This one also wasn’t a contest. From the story line to the reappearance of Ed Slater as Jimmy’s father-in-law and how he treated his son-in-law, this episode was a stinker top to bottom. Least Favorite Moment: I had to really think about this one and I finally decided on the time that Torres canceled Bishop’s date when she handed him her phone in Toil and Trouble. That was really awful of him.
Favorite Guest Star: This is a tough one. I’ll give three. Charlie Robinson in Fragments. Dabney Coleman in The Last Link. And Mike Farrell in his two episodes. All three men did fantastic in their guest roles.
Least Favorite Guest Star: Larry Miller as Ed Slater. I like Larry Miller but I can’t stand Breena’s father. I know some of that is by design but I can’t think of any redeeming qualities for this guy.
MVP of the Season: I know I’m biased but I really thought that McGee had a really good season particularly from Silent Service on. We got to see him as a strong leader in Silent Service and stand up to Gibbs in Hail & Farewell and then supported Gibbs in the same episode.
Missed Opportunity: For as good as Judge, Jury… was, I thought that ...And Executioner was a serious let down. I didn’t like that they killed Agent Mayhem. He could have been an interesting recurring character. I didn’t hate that they brought up Pedro Hernandez again (even though I did like the scene where Gibbs admitted to murdering Pedro to the team.) The second part of the episode just wasn’t as tightly written as the first. It was ok but it could have been better.
Three Things You Want to See Next Year: Gibbs: I want to see Gibbs continue to open up. Diane might be a piece of work and she was a figment of Gibbs’ imagination but she did have a lot of good points in the finale. Gibbs is terrified of allowing himself to get close to people because he’s afraid to lose them. But the only way he’s going to heal is to allow people to get close to him again. And because Diane was a figment of his imagination, Gibbs knows it.
McGee: I want to continue to see Tim prove that he’s come a long way since his Probie days and show why he’s a great Senior Field Agent. It’d be nice to see Delilah again too. I really enjoyed her short appearance in Once Upon a Tim. Or bring her back as a badass cyber intelligence officer. More like that please!
Jimmy: I like the version of Jimmy we’ve gotten this season. He can still be goofy but he’s also good at his job. As much as I like Ducky, I’m glad that Jimmy (and Brian!) gets to stand on his own two feet. So more of this and more of Ducky as NCIS historian. That’s a clever way of keeping Ducky in his recurring role without him stepping on Jimmy’s toes.
Three Things you Don't Want to See Next Year:
(I’m breaking my own rules and going with 4) - I still don’t want to see the will they/won’t they between Bishop or Torres.
- I also don’t want to see much of Ziva because I don’t want her to overshadow the team (even though I am intrigued by the story line as a whole. I hope they don't drag the story line out...)
- I want the goofy/petty/vain version of Torres to go away. He's so much better than that.
- I don’t want Gibbs to revert back to closed off Gibbs again. He’s making progress. Let him grow!

Favorite Episode: The Last Link, followed by Fragments.
Favorite Moment: Tough one to choose from, but most likely it was when Charlie Robinson stood face to face with Fred Dryer. Something about that scene was very important to me, and seeing those two together was great. Also followed by every scene Dabney Coleman was in.
Least Favorite Episode: 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, and 16.
Least Favorite Moment: Diner scene in Bears and Cubs with Sr., Palmer and his father-in-law.
Favorite Guest Star: Difficult to narrow down, so I'll go with previously mentioned guest, Charlie Robinson, Fred Dryer, Dabney Coleman, and add Cote. Honorable mention for Margo Harshman, always a delight to see her.
Least Favorite Guest Star: Can't say I have a least favorite, but Sr. is getting a bit overdone.
MVP of the Season: (Don't have one, some good stuff done by McGee, but Bishop had her moments, as did Gibbs.)
Missed Opportunity: Daughters. The end felt rushed, as though they needed to wrap that story up to set up the cliffhanger. Could have/Should have spent more time with Emily and her addiction.
Three Things You Want to See Next Year:
1. More Margo, more Margo, more Margo. ( I think I said that last year)
2. Less Torres being a jerk, and clown.
3. A new Forensics scientist. Sorry, Kassie never grew on me, and I would like to see her out of the lab and off the show. The character gets on my nerves.
Three Things you Don't Want to See Next Year: 1. Don't screw up the Ziva return. While a lot of people already think the idea is screwed up, it still has the potential to be a great story, but only if written correctly, then let the thread go and move on.
2. If, and I mean only if, Gibbs is learning to open up and let himself feel again, and if they want to give him a relationship, which I'm good with, I don't want to see it done haphazardly. I can see it being with Jack, but it needs to be done right. And I'm not sure I trust this show runner to do it right.
3. I don't want to hear the phrase "All Hands On Deck", ever again on this show. The two times it has been used were both horribly over acted.
