no, I don’t want to see every detail in an episode, jessielee... what I do want is for the details presented to me to be plausible! and in the case of this show, NCIS, plausibility went out the window a loooong time ago; nothing about it is believable or vaguely realistic - period!
unfortunately, I find that NCIS isn’t the only show guilty of this lack of plausibility... it seems most every show I tune in to these days is the same way; the writers expect the viewers to believe or accept the details of the show as they present them... edit: OR to suspend their beliefs and accept what they’re watching as simply “the cost of entertainment”...
this is really nothing new, I guess - it’s been this way for years with practically every show there is on t.v. (movies, too!) maybe I’m just getting too old to eat this drek with a spoon and say “mmmm, it’s delicious!”
I could make more comments on this subject, but I’ll quit while I’m ahead...

nasWell said Nas, I think NCIS jumped shark long ago. This story of Ninja girl coming back from the dead, just to run off with Tony, is the bottom of the barrel.

NAS -- I think it is what I like to call "The Superhero Expectation"... Now that every movie and most tv shows star superheroes, the rest have to showcase something similar to keep up... I blame those damn millennials.

I liked it the most before it got popular.

I liked it the most before it got popular. The early seasons then NewBe? I prefer the early years as well. Mind you I don’t watch much TV, but when I do, I find the early years tend to be my preference.

First 4 the most. Then 5 and 6. Season 7 was, despite still enjoying most episodes, was when it started down hill for me w/Jet Lag being the 1st one I wrote and entirely scathing “Observations” about. After Z became Un-dead at the end of last season I was done. I haven’t watched it at all. Switched to “The Resident” and haven’t regretted it.
