Speaking of which, did we see Delilah this season? I don't recall her. Sadly no. From the post-Arizona interviews, it sounds like episode 401 was supposed to be a McGee/Delilah episode. Frank Cardea mentioned that they were two days away from filming #399 and that all the sets/props were built and actors were lined up. With the shutdown, those sets are locked up on their set, waiting for their return. Episodes 400 and 401 were completed and the finale #402 was in the process of being written.

Didn't get Senior or Fornell either. Senior was because of health so they improvised it, but I wonder if Fornell was planned for any of the last four eps.

I missed Fornell. I think this is the first season he was not in any episodes.

I missed Fornell. I think this is the first season he was not in any episodes. With him no longer being FBI there’s less logical reason for him to be there. Really dumb decision to have him screw up so badly he got ousted from his agency. I hated that whole story.

you know, luckysmom, I get my “Fornell fix” when I watch Joe Spano as Lt. Henry Goldblume in the old Hill Street Blues episodes on nostalgia t.v. - on Saturday nights...
the 30-something Spano was so doggone cute back then! 😋

it may have been a dumb decision but there may have been extenuating circumstance. Mr. Spano may have had project pending that he needed to be available for. i haven't seen many of his tweets of late but I am thinking projects outside of film were available and he took them or projects he was negotiating fell through.

it was mentioned in the interviews that the opioids storyline would reappear in one of the last four episodes, so I assume Fornell would be in that one.

In 1991 I took the H&R Block tax course and there were two older gentlemen in my class. December 7th rolled around, and it being the 50th anniversary they got to talking about Pearl. Turns out they were both there during the attack, one aboard a ship and one stationed ashore.

Sorry I'm late to the chat re: this episode.
WOW. That felt like those tribute episodes that normally air at/near Veteran's Day in November.
Very well done!
