this upcoming episode reminded me that there was another episode involving trucking/big rigs…I remember nothing about it - just that a “big rig” was the subject matter… actually, I’m surprised I remembered anything about an episode that aired almost 13 years ago, in view of the fact that I can’t remember what I had for dinner last night!

There's a 4th video out there but for some reason, CBS didn't upload it it their you tube channel and spoiler tv doesn't have any of the videos.

Not too much to say on this one, not that I'm normally writing huge reviews. Didn't find the main story all that interesting, but will mention that the title character (Big Rig) got about one minute of screen time if you don't count the one conversation in the cab. Kind of like the 2014 Godzilla where Godzilla only got a cameo. I'm sure I'll never know, but I think Zane Holtz must have studied Charlie Sheen in Above the Law for this one, he just seemed to be doing a lot of Sheen's non-comedic mannerisms. The empty gun was rather obvious and the big bad wasn't a surprise.
The b-story of McGee getting on the game show started out good, but got old fast. McGee not getting on the show was a given, but I thought it would be related to the case, such as him being unwilling to leave with two agents undercover. At the end, I knew it would be Sawyer, but I still really hoped it would be Ducky and we'd get to see him clean the floor with McGee on the trivia.

I am such a fan of this show. I really do hate to be mean. But darnit, I pretty much darn near gave this one an "F".
Unlike other episodes which at least held my interest, this one kinda dragged along. I kept looking at my watch constantly (yes, I still wear a watch). Add to it, pretty much everything was highly predictable. Unlike Kasie, I knew the ballistic report would come back that Sawyer's gun was the one who shot the agent. And in the end, I knew Sawyer would have a good reason for doing so and he wouldn't be a turncoat agent. I also figured that Mama Jo (or whatever her name was) would be the "big boss". And that the gun wouldn't be loaded. I was yelling at my TV "Pull the stupid trigger!" (but aim off to the side to miss Torres). Of course, the baddies could have just loaded the gun with the one bullet to see if he would kill Torres and then after that, the gun would be empty. But at least I would have tried to pull the trigger on pulling the trigger anyway. And just how the heck did Torres get a message sent off to NCIS? He did pickpocket the phone, but when would he have time to send a message to his team?
Also, did I hear right that Big Boss Mama also worked part time at that fleabag motel where Sawyer and the agent was staying? If so...wow. She not only can plan truck heists and run a dive bar, but she apparently can also work at a hotel in her spare time. I need her time management skills. And the truck robbery thing was baffling. Why didn't they put trackers on those trucks/trailers? At the very least have law enforcement follow them at a distance and then see where the hijacked trucks go. And do B3 vitamins really have that ingredient to be used to make GHB? I dunno, seems a lot of effort to rob trucks and then use all those massive amounts of vitamins just to make a small amount of that drug. Probably would have been more cost effective to get to know a drug cartel and make deals with them. But I ain't into drugs, so what do I know?
The McGee B-plot was OK. Started off kinda cute, but then started to grate on my nerves. Taking bets on how he'd do? Picking out wardrobe for him? And a tie from a dead body!? Yikes.
Only thing that pretty much kept me from giving this an "F" was the return of Sawyer and his interactions with Torres. And it was nice to see him included in the team's party at the end. Other than that...pretty much a forgettable episode.

Gonna wait till everyone sees this before posting spoilers, but I had a really big issue with this episode. Didn't like it at all.

Very definition of a mediocre episode. Figured out the "Big Boss" early, understood the death of the sister being important as soon as it was said (no reason to put it in if it didn't matter) and also knew the gun was unloaded (they've done that before with McGee and Delilah). The best part was McGee and the gameshow. If that's the highlight of the episode, not much of an episode.

Always liked that episode, since the building with my office was featured prominently. the loading dock in the back was used, then the surveillance in the van was at the corner of the parking lot where I always parked. then the skidding truck that "nearly" flattened ziva was right out in front, with our front door visible in the background.

Actually, Wade said it was one of the girls working the joint recognized Torres as a cop from the motel investigation.

Overall, I gave this snoozer a "D", but almost gave it an "F" just because that used the cow-tipping reference

it seems the NCIS episodes either infuriate me with their stupidity or totally unrealistic story/plot line OR they leave me rather “meh”… this ep is one of the latter…
the one thing that hit me right off the bat is that when undercover Torres is at the beer bar, the Duece, looking to make some “fast cash” he was able to make his hook-up in about 90 seconds… while I understand this is a 42 minute show, it’s really unrealistic to think his objective was met so quickly…
yeah, I figured out who the “Big Bad” was right away - who else would it be? of course the gun wasn’t loaded! and if I had a shot for every time “Mama Jo” called Torres “handsome”, I’d have been drunk by the end of the episode! 😅 Torres handsome? nah, not particularly, imho…
@ brgjoe… no, Mama Jo didn’t work at the motel, joe… Wade said a gal that “hooks” at the Deuce also “works” at the motel where Sawyer stays, and she recognized Torres from when he was at the crime scene…
as I write this post I now realize how really unrealistic the episode was - everything turned out to be just a little too convenient…
lastly, it always bothers me that whenever the gang is together for a social occasion that Delilah is never with them… Hey!!! McGee is a married man! why isn’t his wife with him? (at least photoshop her into the scene to make it look like she’s there! 😠) just sayin’…

eta: whoa! 3 D’s and an F?! that’s brutal, guys!

Is it me or does Torres not do Angry well. It seems so forced. I gave it a D. I agree with many of the comments so far & just wanted to add that I find it hard to believe that 2 undercover agents talk so openly… in the hallway at the bar, out back of the truck company & then in the cab of the truck. I thought that it may have been bugged & that’s how they found out they were cops.

Overall, I gave this snoozer a "D", but almost gave it an "F" just because that used the cow-tipping reference If it referenced someone actually doing the act I'd agree, but in this case it was used as an insult specifically meant to piss someone off. In a bar with a mechanical bull, the surprising part is that it didn't piss off a dozen people.
