Thanks, he was memorable but not putting my finger on where before. Usually I would have looked on IMDb but don't use the site anymore. Might look at Engaged to remind myself. Two week break now.

I think that Valderrama did a good job in this one, being a genuine pain in the beginning to, IMO, turning totally sympathetic by episode's end. His character is the only new one I'd be likely to keep. All in all, a good episode. Cheers!

Definitely find it unbelievable Torres, after eating breakfast, could just run a marathon
They said they were training for a marathon, but they were only running a 5k that day.

I liked the opening a LOT. There were so many medical inaccuracies, I couldn't stand it. I really wish Hollywood would learn the right way to resuscitate someone. Unfortunately, the general public sees scenes like this one and thinks what they see is really possible.

For the record; I couldn't have run my 1.5 mile PRT if I'd eaten before. Water only to hydrate and carried a bottle with me for during. Plenty afterward. I didn't eat until lunch.

I just avoid running all together. After my Navy days were over the running ended with them. I enjoy a brisk walk but the running played havoc with my knees.

I really enjoyed this episode. I was caught off guard by that opening. very well done. i wasn't annoyed by much of anything in this episode..well, okay "Gibbs, Gibbs, Gibbs" got on my nerves. I really wish they'd stop her from doing that.

Unfortunately, the general public sees scenes like this one and thinks what they see is really possible. Well, I'm with you on that but unfortunately it's not new. Back in the dark ages (nursing school) all the healthcare majors would take over the TV one night a week to hoot and giggle at the inaccuracies on Medical Center (James Brolin) and Marcus Welby, MD. When the ptb decided that letting families in the room to watch us resusitate their family members was a good idea, there were a lot of surprised families diving out the door rapidly. It's not anything like as shown on TV.

I actually enjoyed this one. Past time this show went back to its military roots. I also enjoyed seeing the commandant again. Nice flow to the story and good character interactions all around. I'll keep this one on dvr

well, okay "Gibbs, Gibbs, Gibbs" got on my nerves. I really wish they'd stop her from doing that. Maybe it's a weaning process. For several season she was doing 5 of them, now she's down to 3. Still room for improvement, but it's progress...

It's not anything like as shown on TV. Few things are. The one thing that strikes me as a bit odd is the 'letting families in'. I would think time would be too crucial for that, unless you really meant 'letting families remain in the room'.

the Gibbs & Franks thing isn't even close to what happened with Laura in M.I.A., pd....
Laura's was a one time occurrence, whereas Mike "bang, bang shoot 'em up" Franks just kept coming back again and again to have those little "chats" with LJG! he was dead for pete sake, and for those of us who disliked him we just wish he would have stayed that way... given his absence this past season, it does seem that Mr. Franks has seen the light and passed on over to the other side - thank goodness!

My first thought during the opening scene was to look for Patricia Arquette standing in the back ground somewhere.
