or as I call it, “Too Many Shows”…. 😄
as I wrote before, I’m not too keen on this triple series crossover, so I’m not sure if I’m gonna’ watch…
so, what are the rest of you planning to do?
eta: I originally wrote that I’m not going to watch the 3-way, but curiosity may win out, and I might give in and watch it… besides, it won’t be the end of the world if I watch NCIS: L.A. just this one time… that said, I wasn’t impressed with the 2-way season opener so, I won’t expect too much from the January 2nd shows…

I will record and watch NCIS episode and see how it goes. Not a huge fan of crossover episodes but we will see.

Per Tv Line, the date has been pushed back for the cross over.

Sounds less and less promising.

I thought that it was odd to put it on Jan 2, now I am wondering why it is being pushed a week...

Too much competition from the College Football Bowl Games. All the big bowl games are on the 2nd this year (not the first). Personally, I am looking forward to the crossover. I think it will be fun. I enjoy all three shows - they each have their own style, and I appreciate all of them

I enjoy all three shows - they each have their own style, and I appreciate all of them I get the competition from CFB, but, they would have already known that bowl games are never played on Sunday, so they play on Jan 2... so, why would CBS originally schedule the three-way on that night, only to have to move it later?

They may have thought they could deal with the competition. After all, there are a lot of people that don't care about college football, or the NFL. Personally, I have no interest in the bowl games or the NFL. I'm more interested in France vs. Argentina and the resumption of EFL. 2.) They may be having problems in Post. Blending 126 minutes of TV time isn't easy and trying to make the stories cohesive adds to the problem, and if you have different writers for each episode, which you probably do and with three different show runners and three different production teams, the complications mount, no matter how much preproduction and planning went into the final product. 3.) It might be a publicity ploy to bring more viewers to try to spot some problem or hype the anticipation. There will be viewers who want to watch all three shows for the story, and there are viewers who like all three versions of the NCIS universe. They just don't post on this site.

apparently somebody in scheduling was asleep at the switch, BobNOT, and didn’t realize bowl games are “never on Sundays”… seems somebody should have caught that mistake!
same goes for the Rose Parade in Pasadena… if January 1st falls on a Sunday, the parade happens on Monday, the 2nd… as I recall it goes back to the belief that Sunday is for “church goin’” - you’re not supposed to be having fun at a parade on Sunday! actually, this is the real reason: onwardstate.com/2016/12/31/why-the-rose-parade-is-never-on-a-sunday-and-more-interesting-facts/
I wonder how many people have shown up to camp out on the streets of Pasadena on a Saturday night New Year’s Eve, only to find out they’re a day early! yes, I’m sure there are people who are that uninformed! 😅

If that looks weird, I'll fix it when I can get into my personal computer. I tried paying from my phone.
