I know what a wheelchair ramp is, but that sure doesn't look like one...
first of all it's too narrow... secondly, it made of marble - pretty, but not practical... lastly, looks like there's a 4-6 inch drop off on the one end; how the heck does that work for a wheelchair?
I'm somewhat disabled, and as I look at that "whatever it is", I know it wouldn't work for me...
like I said in my other post, maybe it'll look different when we see it in the episode, but from the still shot it sure doesn't look like much of an ADA compliant wheelchair ramp to me...

nas It looks like a wheelchair ramp to me too but tiled. Not plywood or concrete.

Jennifer Esposito's hair was the same mess when she was on Blue Bloods.

maybe she figures if guys can go around looking unkempt & unshaven, then she doesn't have to bother with brushing her hair either...

yes, it looks like a ramp, NewBe, but am I the only one who thinks it doesn't look like it leads to anywhere?
that "drop off" on the end should blend in to a step-up, but it doesn't - it looks backwards...
this is the way an indoor wheelchair ramp is supposed to look: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/06/e8/2f/06e82fc6a7c00e94ab53fab6ff08228e.jpg
but like many other things on NCIS, the "research people" don't always get it right...
o.k., I'm done writing about this - it's like I'm beating a dead horse... I'll just have to wait 'til Tuesday night to see how it looks on the show...

To me it looks like it comes down in the living room. Right below where Gibbs & Tony entered guns drawn a couple of season ago. (The time Z was staying there after the assassin killed Jackie & Eli).
PS: Decided to bold my text when I'm replying to you, Nas so it's a bit easier for you to read.

if I have nothing else to look forward to in Tuesday night's episode, at least I can look forward to seeing that doggone ramp...
I the bold-style font, NewBe! thanx! it is so much easier on my eyes...
for some reason, my iPad doesn't let me type in a large size font AND bold at the same time - don't know why... but I do like the font size choices we have with this site...

Did you try a different font face? One that is already bold like Impact?
BTW, my aunt has been on wheelchair for 25 years so I know how a ramp looks like and I agree with you. It's a fancy-ramp not a useful-ramp. It's designed to stumble on it every time you walk near it lol
Look what I found

this is Impact in 4pt and I was able to bold it on my iPad... looks good...thanx, ale...
well, that's 2 of us that see the "ramp" as a useless marble slab... I really want to see how Delilah uses it...

will we see it happen? I doubt it, ale... basically, because it's useless as it exists...
I really do wish the "props people" (or whatever they're called) had never put that slab of marble on the floor... I guess that's their attempt at trying to show [us] they've made the apartment accessible to wheelchair bound Delilah...
btw, I think it's their place; aren't they living together now?

It's the "Art Department", they design and build the sets. Set decorators bring in the set pieces and props, i.e. furniture, wall decor, things handled by actors (props)
You would send your complaint to the director of the Art Department. You would probably get a response thanking you for watching, thanking you for your input, letting you know that they have received multiple thousand letter, e-mails, tweets, notifying them of their mea culpa (sp?), and that they will probably leave it as it is, since it is a seldom used set, and any changes now would not be cost effective.

ahh, "Art Department"... got it!
nah, I'm not going to send a complaint, pdsmith... the problem with the "ramp" is just something I noticed, but like you said it's a seldom used set and we'll probably never see it again after next week's episode...

btw, I think it's their place; aren't they living together now? That's one my problems with McGee/Delilah too. I can't remember if they live together already or if she's still abroad and he just got his place ready for her... The other problem is that, though I like Delielah and the actress who plays her, I don't find them interesting... maybe because I find McGee pretty boring and unbelievable as SFA. I don't know...
