Just curious, what is the Puppy bowl with the kitten half-time. I've never heard of it.

The moment you realize the hospital you've gone to might be in a tougher area than you thought: Attachment DeletedMOB is Medical Office Building. I don't know if the person who decided on the sign was being cute or just wasn't thinking.

Was there a problem with the vehicles backfiring?

Oh Seldon! Love your sense of humor! Couldn't resist, not that I tried. As for the buses, I'd bet it was something like a lower employee submitting it as a joke thinking the boss would get a kick out of it, then the boss didn't catch it, and by the time anyone said anything it was too late.
Speaking of buses, the ones I've seen in Minneapolis (mostly by the Nicolette Mall) all say 'hybrid', but in the times I've been there every single one of them has always had the engine running.

Having trouble posting, just wanted to say, the Kitten Bowl is on Hallmark Channel.
We watched Animal Planet most of the day, a lot of puppy themed shows, the Dog Bowl and the Puppy Bowl. Then we flipped over to Hallmark for the Kitten Bowl.
I think I am the only one in our office that enjoyed watching a Bowl game yesterday.
It's very subdued, all of Friday's trash-talk was for naught.

@ SunshineBoozer
in defense of us die-hard football fans the Pats and Eagles gave us one helluva game yesterday! it was never one sided and it was great play right up to the last 2 minutes, but the Eagles persevered and won their first ever Super Bowl...
call me crazy, but I think it's so touching to see those big ol' football players crying like babies for joy because of their win... this is what they strive for; this is their ultimate prize!
I wish people would realize not all pro football players (and basketball players, too) are thugs and/or murderers... there are some really great guys out there representing the professional sports world...
I may be in the minority among this group but I am, and always have been, a big pro sports fan...
nas
edit: unfortunately, I just read there were incidents of violence following the game by both winning and losing fans... imo, these are not actually "fans"! these are the idiotic, a-holes who have absolutely no respect for other people or private/public property... shame, shame on them! 😡 there is celebrating- and then there is celebrating! I just wish, for once, this kind of post-game cr@p wouldn't have to happen... it makes me sooo sad...😢

I'm one of those who watches the game for the adverts, and never watches the halftime show. This year, i thoroughly enjoyed both the game and halftime. Although I am not a fan of Justin Timberlake's music, he is one hell of an entertainer, and super talented. And being a Minnesotan, I was really touched when I saw Downtown Minneapolis all lit up up at the end in purple with Prince's symbol.
