You know it ain't much when the thing you notice most is Bishop's hairstyle. Glad to see Ducky show up at least a little

oh for pete sake, Torres, take the damn sweater to a dry cleaner! (and btw, your ❤️-affair with that thing is just plain weird...)
doesn’t anybody on this show keep the passenger side door on their car locked? I seem to recall the same thing happened to Leon Vance once upon a time...
more to follow - or maybe not...

While it wasn't the most thrilling episode, I did find it interesting. Narratively speaking, it was definitely different than most NCIS episodes. I'll have to put together some thoughts after I watch the episode again but it'll probably be a few days. I've got a busy schedule these next few days.
So, someone on twitter pointed out that the shack that the two women broke into is the very same shack that Tim and Tony broke into in Sub Rosa when Michael pulled his first improv (unbeknownst to poor Sean who was just a guest actor at the time!) and decided to 'play football' to break into the shack.

I believe the person on Twitster could be wrong. The house Tim and Tony broke into was on a city block in a suburb, if memory serves. There was a house across the street and to each side of that one. I'll have to watch the episode again to be sure.

Waves "Hi". That was me!
Overall it was an okay episode. Definitely didn't like Gibbs hanging up on Ducky (no one puts Ducky in a corner, so to speak).
Emily appears to have gone to a soft brown/dark blonde coloring for her hair. I like it.
Torres was a much better character when he had a darker personality. Now he's there, like Tony in Michael's later years, as the village idiot. The thing about the stinky car annoyed me. The motor pool has one job - to maintain the cars. If they're not doing so they should be fired.
Gibbs gave Kasey (I keep forgetting the spelling) an "Abby kiss". Quite noticeable to me given that bit entirely stopped due to the lasting "tiff" between Mark & Pauley last season.
I liked that Cassi has a 2nd chance.
Now. I missed a few minutes. Was the Admiral in trouble in the end? I know his "valet" done it. (So the butler really did do it).

I'm rather embarrassed to say I watched Seasons 1-4 too many times to count.

Maybe stop the story and let Ducky hear the case related conversation - he still has clearance. The new hairstyle for Bishop looks great. I'm just surprised it would be done in the middle of a case, especially one involving a stakeout, and it's a bit odd nobody said anything in the office, though that could have been a cut scene. Emily needs to give Maria Bello the name of her stylist. The Admiral didn't appear after the valet was arrested. They wasted the time that could have addressed that issue on showing Torres getting a reimbursement/replacement offer for his sweater. Honestly I hope they recovered the blackmail photos and turned them over to the wife.

I was more interested in organizing stuff on my lap top and the dialogue bored me....
