I'm going to bet that whatever gun fight that took place in the basement left behind some of Ziva's blood. McGee's going to suspect that it was old but Kasie will confirm that it's new and Bishop fesses up to McGee that Ziva's alive in the photo of the two of them.

Looks to me that they got into some sort of scuffle in the basement - caught buy surprise as Jethro left his phone behind. The guy holding him at gunpoint looks familiar - is he one of the guys that was holding Leon last season?

o.k., from that 30 second clip I got 2 things:
1) it wasn’t a bomb; it was, indeed, gunfire...
and...
2) from what the landlady said to her, “On the other side of this your daughter is waiting.”, “ninja-girl” has not been in touch with the little girl she abandoned years ago.. I’m sorry, but whatever genius reason Gina Lucita Monreal came up with that caused this mother to leave a child, it just isn’t good enough! as I’ve said before, how freakin’ important are she and LJG that this whole “somebody’s trying to kill them” situation exists? it is beyond belief, pushing the envelope of “soapy”, and pure unadulterated B.S.! yeah, yeah, I realize this is fiction, but it is among the stupidest fictionlized plots I have ever had the displeasure of seeing! 😖 (Armageddon was the absolute worst for me... it was sooooo dumb I just 😂😂😂 my butt off!)
I’m probably going to blow my mind 🤯 when I watch the entire episode, but believe me when I say I am not done writing about this yet. soooo, Fasten your seatbelts, it’s gonna’ be a bumpy ride!

I think it’s time to kill Tony and Tali off-screen in some non-violent way. Carbon monoxide from a faulty heater.

Nas in the U.K. we have a programme called “Long Lost Family” it is people searching for parents who put them up for adoption or parents searching for children that they gave up or were forced by parents to give up, granted not the same reason Ziva stayed away from Tali but with the life story she was supposed to have had, I’d believe that to save her child from the life she had she would let people believe she was dead. CBS Access all areas has a longer clip, with as someone said, McGee telling Bishop he should have been told that Ziva was alive.

mchnelson. I deleted your post and found the video on youtube. This should not be region locked. This is the extended season trailer.

Thanks Llyan. I know there are some folks out there that may disagree with me, but I am excited for next season!
For those of you who watch NCIS:LA, does the guy that Ziva is kicking in the alley look like Arlo Turk?
Have we heard the name "Zahar" before? Is she Iranian? Israeli? Palestinian? Zahar is actually a male Arab name.
Wasn't it Kort that allegedly blew up Ziva's house? Will it turn out he was helping the Mossad cover up her disappearance?
Questions, questions.

I am sorry, but I still think that is a HUGE stretch, that six years after she left NCIS and three years after we thought she was dead that she is just protecting this child. That this character as Nas mentioned is SO important to the story, and so valuable that someone wants her dead of Gibbs dead, and that SHE has to be the one to save them. I am sorry, buts it’s just ridiculous, one year after MW left, but THREE? I am sorry, but I just don’t by it at all. I don’t by any parent/child or mother/child bond. This whole story is just absurd, especially given the manner in which CDP left.

This is exactly why I’m out. I leave it to those who are practically orgasmic, those who shrug and don’t think too much about it, and those who tune in to see “what’s next”. I’ll read about it here and comment if I can’t stop myself.

usmc brat - I am glad to hear an opposite perspective.
I am not struggling as much with Ziva being alive and coming back as I am that she had a child with Tony, never told him, then left the child with him because it would be "safer." If these mysterious people are really trying to get her I would have hid my child a little better than with obvious past connections. If it was just Ziva going underground then coming back I could probably accept that better. When I saw the pictures though it occurred to me that McGee and Palmer are the only team members she worked with closely (and of course Gibbs). I will be interested to see Tims reaction because they were close. And I will be interested to see VAnce's reaction since the David family impacted his life...

Questions, questions. I'm with you usmcbrat . I'm interested to see where things go with this story line. And I think the longer trailer helped. Couple of thoughts from the trailer:
1. I was glad to see McGee get mad at Ellie for not telling him about Ziva being alive. Ziva and McGee probably had the most even friendship throughout her time on the show. 2. It seems to me that Vance has known that Ziva was alive all along. Orli probably filled him in on things when she came to the US to deliver Tali. 3. I knew the owner of Ziva's She-shed was squirrelly! I knew she had been hiding something when Bishop took the new plant to the she-shed. 4. Yeah, it's cliche that the person trying to kill Ziva is now coming after Gibbs but it would be an effective way to draw her out and it sure looks like it'll be entertaining.

Questions, questions. I'm certain that we haven't heard the name Zahar before and you're right that Kort was responsible for blowing up the farmhouse. I checked the transcript from Family First and they stated that Kort hired a Palestinian man named Ghazi Farsoun to drop the mortar shell onto the David family farmhouse. And just before they killed him, Kort said that he had no idea she'd [Ziva? Tali? Could be either?] be in the farmhouse. I hope the don't try to retcon that part of the story.

There was a character named Alexander Zahar on JAG. Could be the same guy.
