my oh my! 😱 I’m amazed at the activity about this episode on the board today... y’all must not have been impressed - one way or the other - to post any comment(s)... (eta: actually a couple of you have posted comments, and dave626 wrote a nice review while I was busy composing this one...)
so, just for the heck of it I’ll post a few more before my final “adieu” to NCIS...
~ the writer didn’t miss an opportunity to remind the viewers that “ninja-girl” was a real “badass”... besides mentioning it ad nauseam throughout the episode, she had the opportunity to slam McGee onto a counter in the diner - and, of course, she exhibited her super-skills during her “fight” with Torres...
~ and speaking of Torres, the scene, between him & Bishop, where he finally meets “ninja-girl” face to face was gag inducing...🤮
Torres: “That her?” Bishop: “Mm-hmm. Are you gonna say hello?” Torres: “I’m sizing her up.” Bishop: “Okay.”
the way they acted was like he was meeting the mother he had been looking for his entire life - or that he was meeting Mother Teresa or the most important woman to have walked the face of the earth! and Z smiled as if she was his mother, or Mother Teresa or the most important woman to have walked the face of the earth... oh brother!! 🙄
okay, now I’m done - I think! unless I come up with something else...

They really do like to make ninja-girl holier than now, don’t they?

Initial impression -- still a hot mess...... I need to rewatch this, at this point it's nonsense It's not going to make any more sense the second time around. All right.. This makes no more sense than it did on first view! CdP got her MarySue episodes at everyone else's expense. So much out of character behaviors from Gibbs, McGee etc. The only one who behaved admirably was Kacie. So glad to see her " Gee,Ziva's in the building, isn't that nice" attitude, no fan girl reaction!
I hope the rest of the season is better. It could hardly be worse.

She’s worse than a Mary Sue because even they don’t desert their children. She knew she’d made a boat load of enemies in her life so why bring a child into her world? I’m going with the kid belonging to a young woman who worked for her at the farmhouse and that’s the body that was fond in the remains of the house and that she was out in the olive grove with the little girl during the KABOOM! She felt responsible so decide - with Orly’s help - to pass the kid off as hers and to tell Tony he was the only option as baby daddy and get her out of the country so no one would come looking for her.

I just watched the episode - a busy couple of days with some family issues to resolve. I was just too beat to watch last night.
There were parts that were overdone and over acted. I don't understand Bishops obsession with Ziva, but I did enjoy Kaci's reaction.
It was great to see Ducky.
There were parts of the episode that I was okay with, if they had not gone the route of earlier seasons - Ziva is dead, had a daughter with Tony but never let him know ... if had been more she "disappeared" without the rest of the story line I would have enjoyed it more. I did like the tie in to Ari...
This sums it up for me. It is not the show of the early seasons, not as sharp and the stories and personal drama is old. It had been like this with every show that I have watched long term. But I will still be watchimg.

Makes more sense than ninja girl allowing herself to get pregnant in the first place. It's hard on Tony if he ever gets a paternity test but I suppose that doesn't matter to Ziva.

And even the idiot version of Tony knew he should be wearing a condom. It’s not like they were teenagers thinking you can’t get pregnant the first time. He was in his 40s and had plenty of sexual experience. She was in her 30s and she too had plenty of sexual experience.
In my book that kid belongs to neither of them.

I'm not going to go back and rewatch the final Tony episode, but I thought Abby did run Tali's DNA against both Ziva and Tony.

I’m 99.9999% sure that never happened, Hari... (it was much discussed after the “Guess Who’s a Daddy” episode happened)
he took the little girl on blind faith, and just jaunted off to gay Paree...

nas And Israel. Don't forget he was going to take that toddler who'd just been flown around 14 hours to the US BACK to Israel (how he was planning to do that I don't know. No clothes other than the ones in her bag. No legal rights to take her anywhere. No clue how to care for a kid). The whole thing was nothing shy of STUPID!
Tony kept asking and every time Gibbs just glared at him like “how dare you question this” and he was told (by Orli Elbaz) Tali was all Ziva but had Tony’s eyes - which she didn’t.
Remember Abby would do anything for Gibbs and lying to Tony about running the DMA would have been a snap. AND she never stood him before her monitor and showed him AND she never took a cheek swab from Tali.
Mind, I only watched those abysmal episodes once so I could me mis-remembering.

Soooo.... by that logic, Johnny and Morgan don't belong to Tim and Delilah? Tim was in his late 30s and while we don't know Delilah's age, she's probably in her 30s too. They weren't blushing teenagers either and yet they got a big surprise when they found out that Delilah was pregnant. It clearly wasn't planned. Delilah never suspected that she was pregnant so they had probably been taking precautions. And yet... it still happened.
They wanted a reasonable excuse for Tony leaving NCIS that still threw a bone to the Tony and Ziva shippers. And out of all of the plot devices they've ever used in the history of NCIS, Ziva getting pregnant after 'their fond farewell' isn't the most unrealistic one in the world. Birth control fails. Caught up in a moment of passion and protection wasn't used. Unplanned pregnancies happen all the time.

I'm not going to go back and rewatch the final Tony episode, but I thought Abby did run Tali's DNA against both Ziva and Tony. That never happened on screen and there was no indication that it happened offscreen as well. One would think that this would have been the first thing Tony did.... He blindly believed Orli Elbaz that Tali is his child b/c Ziva told her.....

We can only go with supposition but it’s possible with her injury her chances of conception were next to impossible thus their surprise when she became pregnant.
If Tony wasn’t prepared and she wasn’t on any form of birth control they were both beyond stupid. If she wasn’t and said she was because she wanted a baby then she’s deplorable. She already deplorable for not telling he because, as Orly said, "she didn't want to disrupt his life" taking the decision totally out of his hands. Birth control failing for both Tony and Ziva AND Tim & Delilah go way against the law of averages.
The main issue I have is the plethora of unplanned pregnancies on TV shows. They’re mostly done because the actress is pregnant but in this case it was done to to show the shippers “they had sex” and to give Weatherly one of the lamest soap opera exits despite management being given nearly a full season to come up with something decent. It appears to have been his punishment for choosing to leave.
If I remember correctly, Gary G thought it was "fun".
All opinions within are strictly my own and totally based on conjecture.

You know NewBe, I also recall GG thinking it would be “fun.” I have also wondered if it was punishment for MW choosing to leave the series. Possible for his mistake in late 2015 as well, but that is also based on conjecture. Considering they had months to plan they didn’t seem to put much effort into his final episode.
