I know on the other board, a few of us also watched "Elementary". Did any of them migrate over here?

Kitty is back!!!
Ophelia Lovibond, who plays Kitty Winter on Elementary is back tonight. I knew she was coming back, and I've been waiting for this all season.

OMG!! where did Sherlock's hair go? Kitty noticed it and asked him,"Did you lose a bet?"
actually, I like it better than that dorky haircut he was sporting before...
and, btw, he looks great in that black 3 piece suit! hubba hubba!

A couple of episodes ago, Sherlock had "Everyone" help him solve a case. As they are wont to do, they had him pay a price for his help. This price was Joan shaving his head live on line.
While a lot of people on the other board erroneously thought it was for his movie "trainspotting 2", it had nothing to do with the movie. My guess is, with his notable hair loss, he simply wanted to try a different hair style. I know when I finally admitted that I was losing my hair, I decided to shave it all off. Best decision I ever made.

question, pd:
what was the episode (title or #) that Sherlock lost his hair? I missed a few episodes and I would to see that one... I can probably get it on "On Demand" if it's fairly recent...

edit: never mind, I found it...

yes she's back, pd, and I had to laugh when she told Watson she's still "not a hugger" - - then along comes little Archie!
well, she may not be a "hugger", but she's apparently in to other things!

The episode is "Over a Barrel".
And Kitty has a baby. Didn't see that one coming. And now we have the Defense Intelligence Agency involved. I really like the show, but when they start doing the "Government is spying on everyone" episodes, I find them to be a bit convoluted and melodramatic.

Had a couple of days to "digest" the last episode and end of the two episode arch.
Liked it overall. The scene between Holmes and Watson when Holmes is tossed out the van was hilarious. It seems a great deal of humor has been infused into this show, or at least I'm noticing it more, this season.
Loved seeing Kitty back, loved her conversations with Holmes, and even though they wrote it so that she would be heading back to London after the Christening, I'm hoping they bring her back. Love Ophelia.

Okay. Shinwell beats the crap out of Sherlock. Interesting twist.

Did Sherlock's beating happen at the end of the episode? My DVR cut off at the end of my last two recordings! I don't think Shinwell killed his friend. I think the brother did it, and Shinwell wants Sherlock to stay out of it because the brother has turned himself around.

He told Sherlock that SBK ordered the hit on his friend as part of a deal with another gang. You can see it on CBS.com with all access. You can watch the last five episodes for free online.

The past several episodes have been quite good. I'm not sure what Elementary is doing in the ratings, but with the postponements, delays and other nonsense, I'm sure it's not well. Which is sad since it seems to be hitting it's stride. Last nights ending wasn't too surprising since it seems relationship just aren't CBS's thing, at least not with Elementary or NCIS.
I'm hoping that CBS will renew Elementary and give it a better time slot, but last I read, it didn't look good for them.

I will have to say, I did see last night's show ending reveal coming. And the previews for next weeks show looked good. It will place Sherlock and Joan in a dangerous position, which could lead to a good season ending cliff hanger.
However, While the networks have listed multiple renewals and cancellations, Elementary is curiously not on any list, either renewal or cancel. That awful Madam Secretary has been renewed, but not Elementary.
In my opinion, this has been a great show and has only gotten better over the past three seasons. I loved having Kitty around, And then the addition of Moreland was fabulous. This season with Shinwell has also been intriguing, at least for me.
I'm hoping for a renewal for another season, but I'm not holding my breath.
The only thing I didn't like about last nights episode, was the former "Texas Ranger" being the bad guy. But I know that both Hollywood and New York like to take digs at Texas when they can. Forgetting that we do watch TV down here.
