So. What what are the odds these 2 will end up together together? If you are referring to Joan and Sherlock, that happened at the end of last season. What will be interesting to see is how they work the now romantic aspect of their relationship into the work aspect of their relationship. I'm looking forward to it, although it will be a short season.

My God, she is a beautiful Asian woman and she dyed her hair blond? What was she or the producers thinking?

I'm going to have to digest this first episode. Not sure what to make of it, and not sure where they are going with this. Good to see Bell, with what seems like a better send off, if he's going. Not sure about that right now either. Will watch again tomorrow online.

I ❤️ ❤️ Lucy Lui!!
her blonde hair, tho’ it’s not natural, is intriguing... I think she’s a beautiful woman - blonde or brunette... 😊
what a great opening episode! so much to think about, and the end scene was an OMG moment... 😕 (I’m guessing we haven’t seen the last of Bell)

A look at Season 7, Episode 1 of Elementary
The crime of the acid attack is very relevant to our society today. I'm disappointed that they made the victim so shallow she decided to kill herself instead of choosing to live and fight. There are multiple examples of beautiful young women, some of who were also social media model types, who have face accidents that disfigured them and they continued to build their lives after their disfigurement. The revelation of the mother who financed her lost daughter's life was an interesting twist, and her admission that she wasn't above having someone take out her daughter's killer was refreshingly honest, if a bit alarming.
Did anyone recognize the doctor as being the get-away driver for the terrorist that stole the drone and caused Delilah's paralysis? His voice caught my attention first, then the face. Didn't like that fact that they introduced him so early in the story, too much like our beloved show on this board. Also, the final revelation was a bit off, since his chemical burn on his finger would have been noticed when they met at the hospital, since he shook hands with the DCI with his right hand. Unless they are saying he dumped the bike after he went to the hospital, but that doesn't make sense either.
It was good to see Bell back, it looks like what ever John-Michael Hall had lined up for after Elementary fell through, he doesn't really have any other credits past the end date of this, just two projects that look like movies that seem to have been released already. Nice to see him confronting Gregson about Hannah and the way he left things off with Sherlock.
This will be interesting to see how Sherlock maneuvers NY investigating Gregson's shooting with the FBI wanting him for murder. A decent way to get him back to the states.
As for Joan's hair. Lucy had a couple of projects released in 2018, not sure if they were before Elementary wrapped season six or after, but she has one project now in Post and two more in Pre-production. She could have changed her hair for any of those projects, or she could have done it for Elementary to go along with a woman struggling with a major life change. By the way, I loved Ophelia's purple hair. I usually hate odd hair colors that are not natural, but I honestly don't think there is a way to make Ophelia unattractive.
Overall I liked the show, I'm a bit hesitant to see where they are going to take this in the last 13 episodes. I'm hoping that they continue the quality they had last year. I also hope we get to see Natalie back to reprise Moriarty one more time, or two, or three.
On a side note concerning posts from other threads. I've noticed the "poop" emoji being used here. It reminded me of an episode in Elementary where Bell is standing holding a bowl of water. Sherlock places a picture on the book case behind him, then instructs him to tell him what's behind him. Bell admits he can't turn quickly without spilling the water, which leads Sherlock to prompt him to realize a witness had lied to them about what he saw, since the witness was holding a punch bowl full of Sangria and would have been covered with it had he jerked around after the two gun shots went off at the crime scene. When Bell turned around to see the picture he stated "You put up a picture of a poop emoji?" to which Sherlock replied, "I thought it was Ice Cream".
You'll never look at chocolate soft serve the same way now, will you?

I don’t know about the rest of you Elementary fans but I’m seriously disappointed in this Season 7...
either I misunderstood the last episode of Season 6 when Sherlock & Joan decided they “loved each other” - or the writers purposely misled their viewers...
I was under the impression that they would be taking their relationship to the next level, but apparently I was wrong... in London they live(d) in adjoining units - 221A & 221B Baker Street - and now back in NYC they’re sharing the apartment like they did before - he’s downstairs, she’s upstairs... soooo, they are not a “romantic couple”, but a “platonic couple” - just like before... I’m okay with that, but did I misunderstand - or what?
also, this season’s crimes seem even more convoluted than they’ve ever been... last night’s episode (6/27/19) “Command: Delete”, which was a continuation of the previous episodes, was so confusing that I actually had a hard time remembering what the original reason for the shootings was all about... I needed a score card to keep up with the players! 🙄
I really expected more from this series Finale Season, but so far I’m not getting it... it’s just more of the same ‘ol/same ‘ol... 😕
your opinion would be most welcome...

I must agree. It seems as if the producers and writers blew all their good ideas on last years season thinking it would be their last, then when CBS renewed it for 13 more episodes, they were like "Crap, now we have to come up with something new!"
I wasn't happy with the Agent McNally twist this past week nor am I thrilled with the direction it's taken. It's as if someone thought it would be a good idea to combine the last episodes of "Elementary" with "Person of Interest".
Toning back a possible Sherlock and Watson romance was a good idea, the show works better with that distance between them, and bringing them back to New York was nice, but I think I could have done a better job of writing that story line. They seem to be reaching deep in their idea bag to make things as difficult on Sherlock as possible, which will only serve to stress him, which could possibly lead to another relapse? If that is what their going for? Not a good way to end the show, IMO.
And it seems that Michael wasn't the one wanting off the show, but Adrian. I guess Quinn has another project he was involved with when they were filming last year? I may just dismiss this season an stick with last year being the last season of the show. I'll give the last few episodes the benefit of a doubt but . . . I'm not going to hold my breath in anticipation of it improving much.
Sad actually.

I have finally caught up with Elementary , and I am wondering if Sherlock is going to die ( or fake his death) at the end of the season. He made a reference to the brownstone being part of Joan’s inheritance, and of course, the baddie is “Reichenbach”. Sherlock will go to any length to protect Joan, but I am not happy that he hasn’t told her about the latest development.
oh, and my bet is Novacek is leaving the department to work for Reichenbach.

Of course this is the final season of the US version so maybe her not knowing won’t work quite as well.

Only Sherlock could have pulled it off like that, and of course John was grey when Sherlock came back to the land of the living. Maybe Joan's hair color will change again too? Perhaps Joan will finally adopt, and the wee one will be named Sherlock Mycroft.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but now that we are about half way through this final season, has anyone else noticed that Aidan Quinn and Johnny Lee Miller have shared exactly one scene together this season?
Is this Elementary's version of PP and MH?
I'm hoping not, but it's looking a lot like that. That and Aidan's total time on screen has been diminished.
I will say that the past two episodes have been better. And tonight's was really good, IMO.

why do you ask that, pd? was there some story about “bad blood” between them?
you know, I’ve become so disinterested in Elementary this season that I actually forgot it aired last night, and forgot to set my DVR to record it... I’ll just watch it later on with On Demand...

That's just it, I'm not aware of any story about bad blood. I haven't heard or read anything about a feud or fall out, nothing. Which is why the lack of onscreen together time is so odd to me. Having looked at Aidan's IMDb page, he has been busy outside of Elementary the past two years, which could explain his reduced number of scenes in the show, but that doesn't explain why he and JLM aren't on screen together.
It puzzles me, Gibbs.
