I commented in another thread about this episode that I already hate it - without even seeing it!
tell me, people, in what universe is a convicted, psycho murderer ever allowed a pass to live in a person's private home - - and in this particular case, McGee's!?!?
the description in Ausiello's spoilers article says that McGee tries to hide all evidence that there are babies living in the condo... gotta tell ya', that's fu---kin' near impossible without gutting the place!
who in their right mind would agree to such a thing?! I would never in a million years allow this to happen- never!
oh, I'll watch the episode, just to see how they treat this unbelievable situation, and I'll probably write about it, but believe me it probably won't be pretty!

I agree with you there. And similarly, I'm stuck at the end of last year on Bull because it has this episode with a little girl who wants to get away from her parents and comes to Bull for help and I already read that "he will be surprised when the court awards him custody of the girl". I watched the first 9 minutes and am stuck because I just can't push through what I know is going to be a really stupid situation. And I've already said too much about that because I don't want to derail this thread and probably already have.

What strikes me as odd with this is that Gibbs wasn't even willing to strike a deal with Triff to find the stolen diamonds in What Lies Above and that was only for a bigger cell. In that case, I think they felt they hadn't exhausted all of their options yet, which is why they didn't negotiate. Maybe they're at the end of their rope. Either that or Hicks has done something really bad that makes Gibbs unusually desperate to get him. I guess we'll see.

Which makes me think it may be more like 'One Last Score' where they made the deal with the ponzi scheme woman in order to find her ledger.

McGee says, "Is this really happening?"
well, Timmy, that's exactly what I've been saying!
so they put "the monster" in a cage in "Hacienda McGee", huh? this whole idea just gets dumber and dumber!
I can't wait for February 27th to see the other 43 minutes of what's bound to be utter stupidity...

@ nas .... I am with you on this one. The is NO WAY they put a convicted felon (murderer) in someones home, especially with their kids there. McGee would be headed for divorce court if he was my husband. You would never even want a convicted felon to know where you live much less be in your house.
I will give a little dramatic license but no way would this happen - even if they put him in Gibbs house it would be stretching it.
I will watch the episode but I am disappointed they took this route. My finger may be on the FF arrow...

You would never even want a convicted felon to know where you live much less be in your house. But Triff knew where McGee lives because he let it slip that he killed the intruder who had been looking for the key to the safety deposit box with the diamonds. Triff knew that McGee was in his old apartment since What Lies Above.Granted, I think you're right and if I were Delilah, I would be very unhappy with this choice too. But I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and see how this plays out first.

The police, after getting multiple reports of a man being kept in what appears to be a cage, show up at the door of the McGee apartment. 911 Operation: 911, what's your emergency? Caller: Um, I was walking by the XYZ building on Main Street and when I glanced up there was a man standing in what looks like a cage. Maybe you should send the police to check it out. 911 Operator: We'll send someone right over. This repeated, with slight variations of words, several times with multiple 911 Operators.
Perhaps the curtains should be closed.
